Eagles are actually making this game more competitive because they're getting a good run with the umps specifically at the centre bounce. Winning a few centre clearances through holding, pre-tackles, obvious throws etc.

Some of our decision making moving the ball inside 50 is actually pretty poor, and we're not always taking the best option presented. It's just that Eagles are so poor that even the second or third best option is better than the typical best option playing against a good club!
