What's the feeling on Cordy? As I recall, it was accepted that he'd take a while as he was fairly skinny etc. Much and all as some idiots on our board had the knives out for Robbie Taz - who has now been vindicated - are any losing patience with Cordy?

It's getting to the point where we'd like to see him play, rather than just saying "ah well he's a project".

His weight isn't as much of an issue anymore, at 203cms and 99 kilos. He just has to put together some senior games at Williamstown.

Had a look on Saturday they seemed to be coasting at times , as the North Coach said the Dogs experimented for the 1st 10 Min of the last quarter but full credit to North when EADE put our better players back on the ground North kept coming and finished all over the top of us.
I am impressed with Norths midfield they all put there head over the pill ( except Wells ).
Stack was loose he can't play down back , Barlow looked ok , Boyds kicking was ordinary Cooney very good, The rucks held there own but we got smashed in the centre clearance , Liba coming along just nice great hands,
Jones and Grant good early then disapeared , Hall about 40%.
Gia unsighted Willilams played ok but apponent kicked 4, Morris terrible game out marked and out bustled all day.
They really miss Lake one big man down all day.Djkerra played well should play round 1 they same with Hill.Picken fantastic all guts , Murphy floated about little impact, Cross normal game always on the ground feeding out.
Skinner came on 2nd half looked lost had a chance to sow it up in the last 5mins but sprayed his kick.Higgens ok not sighted in last quarter though.Griffen was ok but had a quiet last quarter he had a few mates but.
IN summing up a good hit out the worry was no forward pressure the ball came out of the forward line to easy, and our backline was horrid. Good news Cooney was great Hill played very well marking like in his firts year and Djkerra looks the goods and Libba could be a gun.

Hasn't really taken longer than other super-skinny rucks (Warnock & Luenberger) although he has been trialled in defence. He just needs to string a full season of playing together after being ruined by injury.
Some did lose patience with Grant but he's putting it all together now. Some players just take time.

IIRC we were very interested in Tarrant (and Rance) with the pick 19 we gained from the McMahon trade - we didn't expect Ward to be available and were happy when he slipped to us.

The decision to pick up Ward was made easier by the fact that Tarrant & Rance were both picked with the 2 picks that proceeded our selection which yielded Ward.

Ah yes remember now, thanks again Richmond :)

The Dogs rotated players on him for most of the game. Dale Morris, Bob Murphy and Josh Hill even had stints on him.

It didn't matter, Lindsay was just "on' today.

Oh dear severe case of pre-season giddiness.
As per usual Thomas being rad dolled and not doing much!
Wouldn't normally say I told you so but couldn't resist!
