News DONE DEAL: Patrick Ryder traded to Port Adelaide

So the latest is Port have offered pick 17 and 37
Essendon want a player as well in this deal?

I know Ryder fits a need in our team but to suggest he's worth 3 players is.. mind blowing..

Part of me is thinking that Port should have tried to get the Gorringe deal done in the early part of the trade week..

if we get gorringe then he sits in the maggies for the next 2 years developing

if we dont, then he sits at the gold coast developing, and then comes to port next summer

its a risk that he may get hurt, have a huge year, get tempted by another team or even tempted to stay.... either way though if we have to miss out on gorringe to get a guy that instantly makes our best 22 now and fills a need for a top 4 team, then we MUST do it
