the minority of crows fans (most of us on this board/forum) are fed up.. we are only interested in premierships and being successful.. but alls that Fagan cares about is making money, membership tally and off field crap and Burton is this most arrogant bloke you will ever meet in footy. Roo will push for the sacking but will get overruled.
I just have a feeling Pyke will lead us into 2020.

“Fearful”, there’s no way that we stump up the bucks to sack a highly paid coach with 2 years to run at the end of this season. Especially one that got us to our first GF in 20 years. He’s got most, of not all, of next year to sort his shit out.

Even forgetting that, the main issue is that their philosophies on the game are completely ****ed up. Pyke wanted speed at the draft but at the selection table he’s still hitched to structure, experience and continuity. Even when it’s failing him miserably.

He’s definitely all that. The issue is that he speaks the truth, or at least his, while passionate after a game and early in the week. But then he gradually performs a complete 180 by selection night. He’ll backtrack on these comments to a fair extent. The club would have contacted him and he’ll understand how hard everyone is working and that everyone really is doing a good job.

Having a yarn at how utterly crap we’ve been in the past month. Then having a big laugh at how in the heck have we still retained our spot in the top 8?!

Pizzas, beers and some karaoke would be my vote for an awesome get-together.

Nothing wrong with:
--- a barbie, mate, it's an Aussie TRADITION
--- knitting, neither, my Mum used to knit until her arthritis got her hands. Knitting is relaxing, like therapy.
--- the Cheer Squad, who bust their butts for the Crows week after week.
Going to the footy is a social event, a chance to catch up with mates etc.

What ruins all that, the barbies, the knitting, the Cheer Squad etc is the dismal efforts put up by the mob we support. Blame them, not the supporters, please.

Yes, I'm coming around to this position more and more.
Buckley was backed when I was sure they'd sack him. Hardwick, too. Result: a Flag and a GF loss.

The Crows need to find the people who turned things around at those 2 Clubs (the idea people) and add to that whatever Fagan has been doing with Brisbane.
Pyke has the rest of this year and early 2020 to turn it around, but he has to get better assistants, for sure.
NOT recycled Crows' players, NOT Roo-mates.
