I don’t have my head in the sand at all. I know there’d be financial ramifications for being shit. It’s why the common line was “North can’t afford to rebuild, they’d go under”…which ultimately lead to “because North can’t afford to rebuild they’ll never be a real contender”.

Now we’re rebuilding and we’re shit. It’s our job as supporters to keep watching this crap and buying memberships and sticking it out, and when we come out the other side it will be glorious and we can tell all the doubters to go and get ****ed.

I’d be more critical of Buckley for jumping ship than I would be of Hood putting out a tweet.

I think Buckley timed it well actually… a lot of the big Board issues had been done on his watch, giving Sonja a chance to bed in.

New CEO, sacked the coach (twice), oversaw the new coach selection and got the Arden St expansion up to a major gateway.

His maximum term was fast approaching anyway.

I’d be definitely looking at it. We’ve gone backwards and we finished bottom last year. The players look frustrated. Something isn’t right.
