Dream Team Leagues

Baldricks Bruisers, I was around 4100 last year, would like to join a league too.

As to comments on people not supplying proof of position for last year it sounds like that would be difficult unless you per chance cut and pasted the info for yourself. I would think it is doubtful people would exaggerate their position too much, what would be the point of sitting on the bottom of a ladder all season. Same could be said for putting high level players with inexperienced ones, no incentive for either. We want every round to be competitive .

I am very keen on getting in a Bigfooty league.

Finished in the top 600 last year under 'Dec's Premium'

Also scored 5th overall one week.

Hey Kildonan, would like to sign up for this year.

My team name is 'Viva Le Gauss', came around 3,500ish last year iirc but i'm a mate of sherrthecat so wouldn't mind being put in a league with him either, whatever.

More directed at Pie Legend I guess who said anyone who didn't supply proof should start at the bottom. Yours just happened to be the latest agreeing to that sentiment. Infers a lack of trust in fellow posters which is unfair when the info to provide proof with is no longer available.

Or can you tell us how to access last years results?

No - are you interested?

If so I prefer those who are interested to say so at the time they are invited into a league.

I say this because I don't want to upset someone by forgetting their offer to take a captains spot

Just wondering if the next lot of divisions will be sorted out by returning leagues members from last season or will include newcomers.

The main criterion I am using is 2008 DT rank. Those that have played in last season's comp or have given me proof of their ranking will be locked in first, those that say "around 5,000" will be offered spots later. - K

Currently they're attempting to sort out the upper divisions and this will then slowly filter down to the lower divisions.

Before I tracked down my ranking from last year I thought I'd finished inside the top 500. I actually only finished 538th. That's not a massive difference if you finished between 4000-6000th but at the pointy end it could be the difference between division 4 and 6. If you aim to get to Division one that could set you back 3-4 years!

Big ask just to accept somebody's word - and trust me, on this board people are prone to a bit of exaggeration now and then.

not accurate as there will be coaches who fail to reply, so many coaches near the top of the leagues I indicated will probably be in the league above.
