They are squads of 40 people, no need to query positions and selections just yet, fair bit of trimming to do!

Brad Sewell = robbed. How can Stanton be included ahead of Sewell - what a joke!

James Kelly got picked ahead of him too. Strange decision. Daniel Cross was unlucky too. I'm not too bothered if the Bulldogs don't have many representatives, a week off for most of the boys would be very welcome.

The All Stars forward line is monstrous; Franklin, Pavlich, Riewoldt and Richo.

Leuenberger!!!!!!!! He hasn't even been nominated for a rising star gig this year!

Brad Sewell should definitely have gotten a gig. Absolute star

James Kelly got picked ahead of him too.

2008 averages:

J Kelly: 25 possessions, 7 marks, 4 tackles, 0.75 goals.

B Sewell: 25 possessions, 6 marks, 4.5 tackles, 0.25 goals.

Kelly has had a great start to the year and deserves his spot.
Sewell deserves to be there as well, but not at Kelly's expense.

A good marketing ploy by the AFL to ensure that every teams gets at least one player included.

Having said that there is some pretty generous inclusions in those lists.

If we're using statistics from such a small sample (4 matches) then a lot of players are unlucky to miss. You have to use last years form as a guide too, and Sewell was much more influential than Kelly. Don't get me wrong, Kelly is playing well but Sewell should be ahead of him.

Why do people get upset if their players miss out?

As far as i'm concerned, the less Geelong players who participate, the better.

Exactly how I feel. If it was state of origin I'd be wanting Port players to be representing South Australia but this... well it's just a meaningless practice game.
