Will Deledio get tagged? With Cotchin proving GAJ-esque untaggable (and he's a lock) almost in 2012 Deledio could be the target for close-checkin. I like Martin but will he have enough upside to justify his price? Maric is also another possibility but will Vickery hurt his scoring like some DTers are predicting? Thanks!

What date do sc/dt unlock?

If you purchased SC Gold or DT Assistant Coach last season you can access Supercoach and Dream Team now. These apps are unavailable to purchase prior to 21 January next year.

As already stated both fantasy games open officially on Feb 1.

Please remember the prices of players at this time are subject to change and will be locked in from February 1.

Just ordered a prospectus for the first time this year. Anygood?

I have bought it for the last 3 years now and I enjoy it. Not just from a SC/DT point of view but also the in depth analysis of our club and the AFL as a whole.

I find that I can't put the thing down for first few weeks but then throughout the season I'll be constantly referring back to it, When a player comes into consideration for your team or whatever

I can usually find the same information with a bit of Google-Fu but won a G on fantasy games last year so I thought I might as well get one this year.

Some info I think would be very hard to find anywhere else. Like which players have high retention rates when kicking inside 50. Scoring chain involvements etc

But hey if your winning 1k off of Fantasy you must be doing alright.

Good move, got every year since inception. Youre right the information is elsewhere but it is handy to put next to the bed for a couple of months and read when the Mrs falls asleep. Has relevance with DT/SC but also is an interesting analysis on the game that the commentators and journos also use. Interesting to see the facts behind what teams do on the field in terms of strategy IMO

hey mods, finished 123 in SC and 1309 in DT overall last year and was wondering about the Richmond Leagues for next year to see if I can help bash up the other team boards.

If there are spots available for either DT or SC, please let me know.

Cotchin - is most certainly a lock for me.
Lids - I am also strongly considering Lids, even though he is a pure midfielder, he was extremely consistent throughout the season. May bring him into my side later in the season.
Dusty - Will most likely have him in my side. Looking at the other forwards, there isnt any other huge scorers there this year (with the exception of a few). However I am strongly considering taking Jetta (Syd) over Dusty, will see how they go pre-season.
Vlaustin - Will be picked if named round 1.
Knights - A no for me. Varcroe and Robbie Grey are priced around the same and I believe they have better upside.
Ivan - Also a no for me. Big mummy is priced below 500k and the Burger is extremely cheap.

Slightly off-topic, how many people are taking Gaz at the start of the season? He is extremely pricey ($720k from memory), but IMO he is worth every cent, especially since he is a lock as captain every week.

Have a close look at these guys values

- Griggs
- Houli
- Newman
- Ellis
- Rance (especially if Chaplin and Griff step up)

Locks - Cotchin , Deledio

Big question mark Over Dusty Because I've read a lot of reports on this site that we are trading him to GWS for our first round pick and Nahas.

Some non Richmond players to consider...

Greg Broughton - should see plenty of action down back at the suns, plus DPP def/fwd.

Luke Ball - cheaply priced for his potential scores.

Josh Jenkins - scores should increase after Tippet's departure, plus DPP fwd/ruck.

Sam Reid - if he can stay injury free he will be a steal.

General Patton - is going to be a star and is still cheap.

I like the Cox / Nic Nat combo as DPP, Ruck / FWD.
