DT Preseason Form Guide 2011

Love him as a player, fearless and totally team orientated. ATM from a DT perspective his role as a fwd tagger will not allow him to get enough ball to be relevant.

That said, he's building his tank and possibly being groomed to take over from Crowley / McPhee tagging through the midfield. He may get stints through there this year but hard to see him improving enough this year to be a worthwhile pick.

I dont think Deboer will ever be DT relevant, the plan is not to get the ball in his hands. His handball, decision making and kicking especially is the worst in the comp. Hes capable of doing a run with or offensive forward role, but he will have to improve greatly to ever become DT relevant. Im not picking a players who team plans are to keep the ball away from him.

Cross Vince off, has only had one decent year and the risks are too great.
Injury worries, somewhat unproven, the structure won't allow for a player like him. Unless your trying to do something different from a league perspective.
Knights has the potential to pick up as a decent forward MP option, I like the idea of upgrading him if he starts well. But again, that killed owners of Mallas/Waters in 2010.

What Dogs is saying that you wont upgrade him until he gets injured similar to Mal or Waters last year. While these players put up keeper numbers, there is no need to upgrade them until injury.
