He says things he clearly thinks are witty, despite all evidence that they are not.

Still think his commentary is well ahead of BT and Darcy.

He’s a classic example of a semi-developed intellect.

He can articulate, recall, formulate questions, kind of provide responses......but his observation/analytical ability is average......he’s a footballer.

His real issue is,,,he’s a sh1t entertainer. Just banal.....no matter how much he shouts and fakes it.

He’s like #$&&* a Thai ‘lady boy’...you know it’s shabby....but what choice do you have? 😳😳😳

His problem is he firmly believes his commentary adds to or needs to add to the entertainment, and he thinks he need to explain to the audience how they should feel.

I can't count the amount of times Dwayne has told me I should be excited or that what I'm witnessing is amazing and the greatest thing ever, until the next goal is even better.

He's also the king of hyperbole with players, bar no one. Every team has about 10 bonafide stars, and another 8 rising stars apparantly.

If I put it down to excessive hyperbole and annoying Americanisation, and phrases he thinks are cool but don't fit the vernacular like "dance step" "shake and bake", etc.

Apart from that, he seems a good guy and fairly articulate when speaking on SEN.

It was hilarious watching the showdown and hearing the jubilation and excitement in his voice when thought it was a Port free in the forward line. Only to hear the flatness when it was only a free to a Crows defender!

The poor Crows get Dwayne more than most teams due to the number of Fox games we have.

If I hear that Brodie Smith used to be a Port supporter again, it'll be too soon.

To add insult to injury, he called 1 AFLW game this season.

You guessed it, it was a Crows match

SPARE ME MY SINS!

What the hell did I do to be inflicted with DR’s commentary fir this game! (Crows/Tiges)

First...Himmelberg ‘kicks it into the Torrens!!!!!’ - it actually landed in the front row.

Then - Opposite end...same player...’He’s kicked it into the Church!!’ - Ball actually land in the back row of the front tier...🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄

You’ll burn in hell Pipe, the way you deceive people....🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️

Love how he tried to make Tex sound like this great comeback story as if he's been injured for a long time, rather than suspended for a racial slur.

Was pretty hard to listen yesterday while watching,

Josh Rachelle is apparently a star already, and a regulation 25m kick to a leading forward in the first quarter seemed to generate as much excitement from Dwayne as if it was goal of the year to win the game.

Also, there's a lot of dance steps, drop steps, side steps, euro steps and shake and bakes in the AFL now apparently. At least one or two a quarter Dwayne likes to use.

I believe yesterday also featured a "half netball step"
