7. Debuted just about everyone in our squad, including a couple of 300 game legends
On this topic, we have some good depth now. Waterman, Oscar Allen, Brander, Petro and M.Allen are good youngsters and with Gaff and Sheppard back we should be good to go.

And its gone........

Just noticed that.

It had a nice summary of the season with lots of input from Simmo and Jaymie Graham.

A couple of things I learnt:

- No fitness test for Gov on the eve of the GF - just asked the doctors whether he was good to go, they said yes, Simmo trusted their opinion.
- Blasted the media in the wake of the Gaff incident - said the hysteria was over the top, having their culture questioned 'rankled' him, and was glad to travel to Port to take focus off Gaff
- Didn't do much in the coaches box on game day throughout the year - the players took ownership of their performance and backed the system they trained for all throughout the year (they came up with the Friends Family Flags motto)
- Rated the win over GWS after the three game losing streak as the most important, although the win at Spotless while missing Shuey, Gov and NN was also sweet
- Felt the Richmond win wasn't as good because he felt they had another gear in them that wasn't deployed after half time
- Commented that it is harder for interstate teams reaching Grand Finals - they had to do the planning two weeks out from GF (eg asking who wanted tickets for family, arranging flights and accommodation, GF week routine), which of course distracted from focusing on actually winning prelim. Helped by asking each prospective player to choose someone to represent them in arranging for GF - admitted it affected them in lead up to 2015 GF and the experience made it much easier and more relaxing this time around.

Its a ripping watch, love the insights from Simmo and Graham. But its more of a once off thing... I think I'd have preferred less interview and more game highlights for repeat viewing. They brush over the regular season games a bit too quick for me.
