Basically instead of Langford putting on a Hawks jumper and running around an oval tonight he'll sit in the crowd and watch while Sicily runs around an oval with a Hawks jumper on.

Though langers played a lot better last week and was miles better than Hartung, Clarko clearly prefers outside players to inside grunt. Sicily will spend a fair bit of time down back tonight, adds a bit of flexibility to the side, a good call to bring him in, just would have preferred to keep Langers and give billy the night off.

This is exactly what I'll be doing tonight!

Done that a couple of times and if the weather was pleasant all good.

Trouble is the drive is 1.5 hours then 35 mins by train, then you sit at one end of a ridiculously long, open, flat stadium where the players up the other end look like frikken ants . . and . . and (end rant).

It is that and the poxy Wet Toast supports which drive me around the twist!

Until 12months ago, I was living on the Vic south coast (for 35yrs), and did whatever it took to attend games whenever I could. This included all those losing games to geelong. And we often got the Geelong train half the way home.
But oh how did we dance and sing when we beat those pricks in the 2013 Prelim.
Go to game whenever you can I say.

Burton will get some time in the midfield tonight. He'll be hard match if he could do that and then go forward in transition. He may even play back to take Stratton's role.

Serious. This is the business end of the season, and in our first quarter last week we saw what we are going to dish up from here out (I hope!).

GWS have been weak for a few weeks; they're fading as all young sides tend to do - not sure I draw much from WCE getting up next week.

Also, the trip to WA will bring out in the team the memory of their last real failure - last year's QF.

I'm really confident about this week. Hawks by 46, and a big (bottle of!) red in front of the TV; then 4 MCG victories from immortality.
