I'm in Tocumwal on NSW side of the Murray working at a grain site. 2 blokes were working in a confined space inside a silo, both came running out shitting bricks asking if I felt an earthquake. I thought it was just strong wind shaking stuff.

Shouldn't be, taller building are generally much safer in earthquakes. Subject to stricter building codes, much deeper foundations and allow for movement etc etc.
