Hawks Notes

• That was the Hawks sixth highest score on record, but our third highest against the Demons.
• As per last week, somehow we are still 7th on the Sweet FA ladder.
• TY24 is hunting the club goal kicking lead and needs 4 this week to take it.
• eth-dog faces his former side in the Bombers this week, and probably won't recognise them.

High

• go you pups (C+) was all over the place, playing in the forward pocket, back pocket, and ruck.
• Drunkgoliath (A+) topped the league in disposals in Rd 15.
• Likewise por_please_ya (A+) returned to form leading the league in handballs for Rd 15.

Why?

• SM (A-) tarnished his good day by giving away 4 free kicks.
• Golumless (A++) practically dominated qith 17 touches and 9 marks, but couldn't kick straight.
• Biggie (B) was flogging Proper Gander in the ruck, but the coach moved him to the back pocket where he wasn't effective.

Hawks Notes

• Two massive weeks in a row gives us our second highest score on record, to go with our now seventh highest from last round.
• This makes it the highest consecutive scoring games for the Hawks on record.
• And we're still seventh.
• But we clinched our playoffs spot and that all important chance to lose a preliminary final.

Great

• por_please_ya (A++) and Loonerty (A++) have hit form at the right time with 37 and 29 disposals respectively.
• TY24 (A-) has racked up 12 goals in 2 weeks, and is now clear as the team's leading goalscorer this season.
• Red mist (B+) took on all opponents and won, including a late stint in the midfield

Wait

• Drunkgoliath (C) undid last week's hard work giving away three free kicks and leaving the game early.
• Le Grille (C) kicked a rather amazing 1 goal and 5 behinds. If at first you don't succeed, maybe handball the fifth one to a team-mate.
• Some may call it a sacrifice, but SM (C+) was clearly the defensive midfielder.
