It is the East Side Hawks leadership group's great pleasure to congratulate a stalwart of the Sweet FA on 250 games this week. Shermy has been one of the league's finest Full Backs for the majority of his career, and on a personal note has been paired with me at Centre Half Back for over half of those, which has been one of the highlights for my career here.
Shermy started with Baghdad in Season 17 after Gee Dub, and fit in quickly with the SFA, forming a quick friendship with Smoooothy, that became the partnership known as Baghdad's "Bash Brothers". It didn't take him long to be a leader and was rewarded with Baghdad captaincy in season 19 and 20, something he likes to say that he did such a good job that nobody remembers him doing it. Soon after that he won back to back flags with the Bombers under the leadership of HaroLad in seasons 23 and 24.
After playing 224 games games over 13 seasons for the Bombers he decided to move over to East Side as his second club, rejoining former teammates Itsmyshow and yours truly. When IMS failed to comment on Shermy, I went to our second favourite former teammate, and when he failed to comment I was forced to consult beez, who kept it short and sweet: "I don't even know who he plays for now. Is that a good thing? Or a bad thing? All I know is that in all our time at Abdu together, I never once beat him at table tennis. Bastard."

Congrats Shermy, it's been one of the great pleasures of my career to spend so much time of it with you. #OGSKWAH
