Seems to me like that’s setting a pretty poor example his past team mates that he had at east.

Fair enough he has mates at westy but that certainly didn’t stop him from bad mouthing them to everyone at east sunbury while he was playing against westy… pretty funny really…..Your mate, you think you know him, Well guess again people change their stripes when it suits them.

Regardless of all of that there is no certainty he comes back anywhere near the same player he was after his knee injury which was very bad.

Horrendous poor post from you. I know Mitch and his a ripping bloke. Never heard him talk badly of players and went to East to help them. Gone back to junior club to help them win a div2 premiership. Can say I tried to personally recruit him a few times with a good proposal not necessarily based on $$$ but he went to East and stayed there as it was close to where he moved to. I’m sure our offer was higher as well. Hls one of the better people I’ve met at a footy club and always willing to have a beer and a chat.

Your entitled to your opinion but think it’s in very bad taste..

Well said mate.. and could not agree more.
Westmeadows signing blokes and announcing daily. They’re going to take some beating and have plugged every hole by the looks since the grand final side. Any news on NS, Glenroy, East and Burnside for recruits?

Speaking to Churchy, I believe their ruck may be staying now? He wasn’t 100% but was semi confident he was actually staying another season. If so then that’s a pretty complete side. They have to be top 2 favourites seeing as they have recruited pretty well. Expecting improvement from Haddy and Glenroy but do note they are still 10 goals off the top sides and will be still a decent gap to close up. Points for having a crack though at that gap

Both Glenroy and haddy beat Westy last season.

I think more credit needs to be given to Ash Flavel. Coached through some of the toughest conditions of any coach in the EDFL. Dealt with relegation when it normally wouldn’t have occurred. Kept together whoever wanted to stay with limited resources and got a group of committed young kids to a grand final. The pile in is great but it will be him to takes them all the way.

No better example of loyalty and resilience in the local footy

You only need to be in front at the end…where you were or what you did mid race is irrelevant… going to be a great 2025. All the interest will be in the lower divisions where there is actual competition. No one cares about premier any more

Correct about Glenroy beating them late in the year. I think if you look at the first time Westy played Haddy you’ll find Haddy were basically full strength on the team sheet so not sure where you see Haddy with half a side out? As for the gap, well Westy finished on 10 wins and made the GF, Haddy 7 wins and Glenroy 4 wins. Suggests to me there’s a decent enough gap? Not sure about being delusional… anyway 2025 no doubt Haddy and Glenroy climb that ladder and get more wins but looks like Westy will be a 4-6 goal better side as well. I’m not associated with either team here, rather just a keen enough onlooker with a couple of mates still playing
