It's not rude.....just ridiculous

thought that might rub some people up the wrong way. too bad. i think it is a fair enough suggestion to have separate threads for a grade and b grade isn't it? completely different standard, completely different players and completely different teams.

Marbo finished on top in 2005 losing only 2 games and went out in straight sets - 2006 they finished top losing only 1 game and lost the Grand Final. Both years they were the "Oak Park" of the comp.

If Greenvale choke back to back then you can compare.

Are you serious????

Greenvale hadnt lost a game since 2006! Yes thats right, 2006! How does that even compare to Marby losing one GF and not being good enough in the other year????

Jesus that is a dumb statement.

Greenvale finished on top, clearly the best side, 2 years in a row. 1 won flag.

Marbo finished on top, clearly the best side, 2 years in a row. 0 flags.

For me Marbo was worse. At least Greenvale got to celebrate 1 flag out of 2 years of dominance.

Mmmm so do we talk about the B Grade team playing in the A Grade competition in the A Grade thread...and talk about the A Grade team playing in the B Grade competition on the B Grade thread???

Even the mindbender is confused now.

Yes, Jacana have picked up a few players in recent weeks, and it will be sure to bolster their team. Good to see them getting their first win after 2 years.

Chris Johnson to play at home down at Jacana Reserve Round 6 V East Keilor.

Jacana are slowly building back up, and it wasn't long ago that clubs knew they were in for a tough one V Jacana, and I'm sure that's what they will be trying to implement over the next few years.

Either way, the winner is football.. hope your team goes well.

Cheers

and the 3rd year of dominance???

Sweet satisfaction!

ok guys enough of the crap...lets talk turkey. if we ended the season right now, who would you all be backing to win the flag? who win the best in the comp, and what would the team of the year look like? who has been the best first year player/recruit in the edfl? look forward to your opinions :thumbsu:

Don't worry about that - how about how many goals will Greenvale kick this week against Glenroy?

Has a team ever kicked 50 in the EDFL?

A or B Grade :D

Missed out on a good week of footy last week

This year is shaping as one of the most even for some time in the A Grade comp

Douttas effort after qtr time last week was terrific
Abers - the club hasn't had a win of that magnitude since the "Harro Lead" years. I've been told it was huge!
Marbi smashed a side who would be seriously remorseful for having $10K on themselves to win the comp after they signed former Bendigo Bomber/Cat J. Reynolds
J. Garth kicked one of the bigger bags seen in A Grade for some time although it was against the poor Roys - you've got to feel sorry for these blokes!
The Heights were stiff again

This week will be some whitewash games

Felders by 43 pts
Jets by 163 pts
Dogs by 72 pys
Eagles by 35 pts
Lions by 57 pts

Ball use and inside hardness the key this weekend!

To answer a question from a few pages back - Kade Carey is one of the best EDFL footballers to play in the last 15 years, up there with Casey, Woods, Rabee, Long, Milner, Doering, Fraser and Bicer.

Yes it was.

Is Kings Army is a Marby Supporter?

Tips for Round 5

A Grade

Doutta Stars Vs Maribyrnong Park
Craigieburn Vs Strathmore
Keilor Vs Avondale Heights
Glenroy Vs Greenvale
West Coburg Vs Aberfeldie

B Grade

Airport West Vs Moonee Valley
Sydenham Hillside Vs Keilor Park
Roxburgh Park Vs Jacana
Tullamarine Vs Oak Park
Hadfield Vs Pascoe Vale
East Keilor Vs Northern Saints
Westmeadows Vs Taylors Lakes

and Go Marby!!

hahaha good one ******** , good to see greenvale kicked or TOTAL of 16 goals,
has any one ever kicked 50 in the EDFL , get over your self mate.
jsut to let ya know greenvale wernt to flashy against glenroy , didnt beat them by as much as i thought they would.

Great to hear West Coburg had a good win against Aberfeldie. Would love some feedback on the game from West or Aber supporters.

GO BURGERS!

couldnt agree more, being doing for years the dog! at least 3 i wouldve thought!

DOG??? are u the same peanut that was mouthing off at him and the rest of our WINNING side after the game and shit yourself when a marby person asked you to repeat what u said??? Or is that a role solely for Douttas peanut team manager?

in brodies defence he'd copped a couple of whacks leading up to that incident and the bloke tagging him sure worked out how far he could push before he copped one back. oh well he did the wrong thing as the retaliator always gets caught and he's taken his medicine - Lay off the other crap though - he's not the first bloke to ever get reported

No 48 for douttas - POOPY PANTS!

Boys from West Coburg just to strong on the day. They had bigger bodies around the ball and just used it better when in possession and played the ground better.

Abers did have a lot more scoring shots however West Coburg was clearly the best side on the day. Abers very wasteful in the first and third quarters only scoring 1 goal which did not help the cause!!

For Abers Fitzpatrick, Mckee, Van Reit and Egan were good and for West Coburg big Hakim was great along with Kaakour and Power.
