Can't see how Jackson gets to the Giants in this draft, given their picks & the Green bid, it's nigh on impossible for them to acquire him.
Unless the Green bid isn't matched

Unpossible.....The only way the Giants get Jackson is by trading their 2020 first to Melbourne & pick 6 for a swap for pick 3.....They can then use 3 for Jackson & match any bids for Green thereafter....They will however go into a huge points deficit for 2020.

Sam Flanders and Brodie Kemp have massive upside even for probable top range draft selections IMO.

Trent Rivers and Elijah Taylor are 2 that I really like as well who could be later 1st round early 2nd round selections.
Agree with you on youngsters mentioned, I like Rivers and Taylor overall either one would be a great addition for the Blues, at 9.

The smooth moving, supremely balanced, beautiful exponent of kicking the ball in Sharp, at pick 27?....Righ-tee-oh.
He hasn’t shown good balance with his defensive side and his kicking isn’t as good as you would think as he does fluff a few kicks. By comparison Dylan Stephens has shown he can win his own ball while also working harder defensively which is why he is in my top 10. Sharp has great talent and I don’t think he is far off the mark for top 20 but the 18-35 range for me is extremely tight.

I reckon the swans will pick him up at 5, give him 2 two years he will be the swans no.1 ruck

Very keen on Luke Jackson here in the West, its all 6PR sports commentators talk about, looks like he may go to GWS though.

A 199 cm ruckman seems a better prospect than the number 1 Vic boy Rowell who stands at 178 cm, i do get that height should not be a real determinant, but surely their are quite a few players at that height who would do the same thing as Rowell, not sure you can say the same for Jackson.

Sharp would be in the Top 5 elite field-kickers in this draft.....That elevates him ahead of all of the 18-35 range.

I disagree there but anyway

My top 5 kickers would be

1. Ash
2. Young
3. Bianco
4. Henry
5. Gould

Ruscoe another later player who is a great kick

Ash seems electric with a great kick. What’s the knock? Awareness? Inability to play multiple positions?

As far as rebound back flankers go he doesn’t really have a weakness, you could say he hasn’t shown an ability to shut down a forward but for what Ash offers I would think it’s more likely a forward is sent to him to curb his influence. He can hit the scoreboard when forward and although he hasn’t shown a great deal in the midfield his last game was very promising playing mostly midfield.

Yikes. That is offensive for a professional athlete under 6'10" or something. He's 18 as well FFS.
Clayton oliver was a tubby bugger not too far out from the draft ,amazing what being in a professional environment can do.plenty of draftees lose weight in their first few preseasons

If the GWS Giants cant move up to pick #3/#4 they will most likely park their 1st round pick by trading it to another team
e.g
Trade pick #6 to Gold Coast for pick #20 + 2020 pick #11
then the bid comes for green they use the points from 20+their other crap selections
Then they can trade GWS 2020 1st rounder for GC pick #15 to draft Jackson

GC Out: 2020 pick #11 + 2019 #15 +2019 #20
GC In : 2019 pick #6 + 2020 GWS 1st rounder

GWS Out: #6 + 2020 1st rounder
GWS In : Greene (#20+#40+#59+#60) Jackson #15 +2020 GC pick #11

What was his weight at U18's, though? Definitely remember him having some puppy fat but Gould flat out needs to lose another 15kg's, which is easier said than done.
