Hardly, but all clubs do some pretty nefarious things and no club is beyond copping it in the media. And if anyone is deluded enough to believe the self serving guff and lies clubs serve up as excuses or explanations of their activities, then I fear for their future. It's been close to 20years in the top job. There's no doubt he's done wonders for the club as a business, for player facilities and welfare.

Eddie once again has embarrassed this club. Can't say i'm not surprised, especially after the Goodes debacle.

He is just never going to learn until AFL going to do something drastic. The Collingwood board is a bunch of yes men and women. They will never remove Eddie, no matter how much damage he does to our brand.

They are so stupid. he ws having a go at a journalist he doesn't like, yes it may have been in poor taste but he has no control over what sex she happens to be. There's no reference to her sex in his comments and no evidence to suggest he wouldn't have said the same thing if she happened to be male. He certainly had a go at Robbo over his story a few weeks ago.

What they should do, regardless of whether Eddie apologies or not is reverse the decision to award Collingwood a women's AFL team license. Netball Australia should do the same too. Unacceptable for Collingwood to be involved in elite womens team when we have a president who has an appalling attitude against women in sport, like Caroline Wilson.
