Reminds me a lot of Jono Marsh. Not sure if that's good or bad.
Its true. This is where he was ranked
Twomey 14th
Pm Bangers not in the top 40
Knightmare not in the top 20
M Alvaro (Rookieme) 25th
Davo27 20th
Marsh couldn’t kick and was ultimately lost because of that.Reminds me a lot of Jono Marsh. Not sure if that's good or bad.
Bullshit, the main reason Marsh was lost where the issues in his noggin.Marsh couldn’t kick and was ultimately lost because of that.
He's a SLOLTER?!?!?He is the first player I have seen been labelled both a slider and a bolter
Why? Wes Fellowes didn't win a B&F in a flag year.
Bullshit, the main reason Marsh was lost where the issues in his noggin.
To reiterate my comment was “ANY type of drop in performance”. The game has changed beyond measure from 20 years ago and continuing to stand by your comments seems bizarre to me, but all power to you.Hasn't been assigned to anything other then a drop off in km ran.
Read the original post 14km vs 20km. Volume was greater then than now hence why i said a fair drop off.
My comments on WHE the player aren't because "I don't think he works hard enough".
He defended current players I assume capacity to run by highlighting that it's done at higher intensity now.
I find it interesting to see if that a 12 to 14km player would clock up what Buckley did then of 5km sprints...or 100% effort.
I compared the two in the draft thread and it’s an obvious likeness. I rated Marsh and whilst I wouldn’t have put it the same way you have my take is that Marsh would still be in the system if he hadn’t walked out on the club. I’m not sure if he’d have made it as a mid or KPD, but he was up to the level in all ways bar his mental health.Bullshit, the main reason Marsh was lost where the issues in his noggin.
I think you will find that Monky had the same thing until he got to 19.Just growing pains mate, he'll be fine
Very different players.I think you will find that Monky had the same thing until he got to 19.
In 12 months time it will be Ollie who ? as this kid is such an upgrade over Henry.
First drafted, 42?Big, tall, fast wingman.

Why Howe? In all of Butch II's highlights, I only recall one mark of consequence from overhead. Then a frequent observer described him as most likely ok overhead one-on-one, but not a pack mark. Now you have all but earmarked our reverse sliding draftee as our next Howe. I prefer your jokes.Clearly a 400 game fullback, and will win 7+ Brownlows and 6 Norm Smiths.
Jokes aside a tall quick fella might be a boon in defence as the brilliant Howe winds down.
He had the Oliver Henry go-home fixation. Move me or I die type ultimatum. Shower me with home comforts or I wilt.Bullshit, the main reason Marsh was lost where the issues in his noggin.

Yes it was bizarre. With the level of homesickness he displayed, the bosom of his family and its immediate surrounds seemed destined to be his lifelong home. But then came back and played for the Saints, if memory serves. Because reasons.
I definitely think its a selection clubs will look back with regret they didn't choose himWhy Collingwood draftee is of “great interest” to Brownlow Medallist
“He’ll be one of great interest and it was interesting that Collingwood jumped all over him.”www.sen.com.au
You had me at not in Knightmare's top 20.
He'll win a Brownlow in that case

On Allan the vibe in this thread is completely at odds with his current status. If he debuts in 2023 we’ve had a Barry Crocker! I like him as a prospect, but he will take time to find his way because he’s coming off a very interrupted 2022 and I’d challenge anyone that thinks they can pick his role next year let alone in the medium term.

That's the spirit.Yep, I think all our draft picks will end up being steals while other clubs have drafted duds.
Yeah I’m also not sold on this. If character is the number 1 priority, they’re ordinary judges, or have lazy DD…A few weeks ago I commented somewhere that I remembered that Collingwood recruiters would always check out the bedrooms of prospective recruits. A tidy, ordered environment pointing to an ordered individual etc. Last night I heard somebody comment during the broadcast, that the No.1 draft priority was character. That surprised me a little, but when you come across good character these days, it hits you in the face a bit. I think this kid oozes character. We'll have to wait on the rest.
