Lobbs kick late in that 1st quarter summed up the game.

Dogs have been clean with the ball and quick with it too. Freo have not.

It's sad, the other 3 games have been solid and close games.

We are unlucky that we are gonna get belted in our final. To make it worse, it's gonna be in front of 55,000 dockers fans.

No midfield pressure and small forwards are non existent.
Amiss was a mistake.

No he wasn't. He's had three perfect leads. Darcy stuffed up one kick into the forward 50 to him. He had two great leads by himself but they kicked to a crowded goal square instead.

Oh well, it was a fun year. Had some good wins: Melbourne, Brisbane and Geelong away were great.

Still a long way to go with the list build.

Clearly need a forward line - probably not helped by Lobb leaving - really need our first-rounder to be a forward. I'd probably pull out of the Jackson trade, that would be a trade you'd make if you were a top 4 side, and we need the pick/s.

And, need to start developing Erasmes and Johnson to give the midfield some depth.

Overall, made a step in the right direction.

Thanks Freo for a good 2022.
Good post until that last sentence. This is the problem of being humiliated in finals: It has the effect of invalidating the year

I can’t even identity what’s going wrong which is never a good sign as it suggests everything. Fundamentally I feel it’s composure. Aish needs to tag bont asap
In the first quarter when it was still a contest we turned it over constantly then missed every shot on goals.

Our pressure is pathetic they have heaps of time and space while we are constantly being overwhelmed.
