Well done Coots, you got through quiet comfortably in the end. I was never really in it after Buddy's shocker, then Stef sub par vs Grundys was the nail in the coffin, but hey that's the game isn't it.

Best of luck for the final few rounds anyways mate, I will keep an eye/ear out to hopefully see you through for the win. Well played.
Thanks Luey. Everything went right for me this week except for Hogan .Your score this week would have won 90% of matches .

Effing hell. I had my opponent on toast early Saturday night. Then the old buddy returned yet I was still confident. Then Kelly scores 150+.
All I need is for Neale and Hurn to total 160. At half time they are 101. Should win easily.
**** it. Hurn goes walkabouts and I end up losing by 7 points.

Need 280 from Heeney and Buddy, so yeah, it's pretty over.

Got lucky with Josh Kelly getting concussed.

Looks like we both made the decision to trade Gibbs to Macrae at the start of the round!!! I nearly traded Rockliff instead but that would've burnt 2 trades, whereas Gibbs to Macrae cost me 1 and leaves me with 1 in my back pocket. Figured Rockliff would get more game-time with Powell-Pepper out....but I was mighty worried at the start of the game when rocky hurt his shoulder. So to get 85 from him was a life-saver.

But I was getting nervous in that last quarter when you had Buddy and Heeney on fire.

Prelim's here I come!!

Yeah, great minds thing alike :)

This game can definitely be fickle, which is what makes winning eliminator so difficult. All it takes is one bad week throughout the season and you are done. Even if you have a good week your opponent might have a better one. I wonder what the record is for winning eliminator with the lowest rank.

Do you plan on using that last trade this coming week or are you saving it for the following week?

I had my best score for the entire season in round 20 yet lost. Certainly fickle.
Good luck DaVe86.

Seems we are playing each other in Div 1 this week.

Will only use if there is injury.

I have only $400 left in the bank, so not much I can trade too.

My opponent has a great midfield, and I would've liked to trade to a player he has just to limit some damage. But I can't afford the good mids...so I'm kind of stuck to what I have.

His mids are all priced in the 700s, but my mids are priced in the low 600s.

But he has Josh Kelly, so not sure if he has a trade left to trade him out as I don't think he will play.

I also reckon Dangerfield could score big this week as their season is on the line and they play at the cattery against Freo. Beams could go big against Gold Coast.

Also, he doesn't have Grundy (he has Martin), and I reckon Brodie will have a monster against Port Adelaide if Ryder doesn't play. He'll probably play against Billy Frampton. So could get an advantage there.

The question is whether to set Grundy captain, or stick with the tried and true Tom Mitchell against the Saints. Jack Macrae the other option.

Best of luck.

What's your overall ranking?

Reckon I was in with a huge shot this year. Got as high as 4th overall, but then I traded to Macrae and he did his hammy, so I traded him to Treloar who did both hammies, then traded Treloar to Fyfe who did his hammy! The sent me back to about 35th overall, and I have clawed my way back to 16th.

Best of luck.

Those 3 trades must have been so frustrating.
I only had 15 on the field in round 13 which sent me tumbling back to 570. I knew it would have a terrible effect on my ranking but I was not going to compromise my team for the sake of one round. Have fought my way back to 58.

Best of luck.
