Article on page 5 of The Gazette 'Umpires may impose ban' also mentions papa g's report at the end.

Big night at EDFL headquarters tonight! :)

right. yes, i do apologise for walking off the ground without doing the sportsmanlike thing. i'm not disagreeing that. BUT. i only did it because i was removing myself from the hostile situation. i do regret my decision as far as not shaking hands & things of that nature. I just did not want to have walked past that umpire again. They are talking about 4 weeks, not talking about belting someone and taking their prescribed week. There was no prescribed sentence. I have been told that i will be made an example. There is no doubt i abused the umpire. but there was no elbow raised and therefore no need to send me off; at all. Now, because of this incident; i wont recieve a free kick for the rest of the year; i have ruined my reputation as a person & as a footballer. And I'm only 19. what a joke. all over one decision. The game was very frustrating from my point of view with little goodie into me all game, alot of pressure to perform; and having to listen to mike santo's views on football. thankyou for listening to my opinion on the issue. Plugger, i'm not disagreeing with you, but there was more to it than you thought.

Cheers.

To me, it sounds like the umpires want blood. They take themselves too seriously and take offensive comments to heart. They don't care about what's best and making an example of anyone, all they want is to see someone cop a suspension. That would make their week. Its personal for them.

The incident wouldn't even go to the tribunal in the AFL. This is just a case of umpires trying up their profile. Which is extremely sad considering the EDFL is a nothing league.

get over it great to see darnum beat dusties and stick it up a few of those ********s there pity they didnt beat them like geelong done to richmond

What on earth does my post have to do with that? You have a real attitude problem. You're no wingnut. You're a f*****g peanut. Stop stinking up our board. Poopmouth.

I'M NOT DISCIPLINED ENOUGH? I'm not the one pelting out immature posts on a topic i know nothing about. And quoting posts when they are irrelevant to the dribble below it.

Cheers,

Go speak about yarragon again or something.

you also appear to have excellent literacy skills too. surely someone being reported under controversial circumstances is more interesting than you making childish comments about how much you want edfl teams to beat each other by. my little brother of 17 is a one-eyed darnum supporter and even he gives a more level headed and unbiased view on the local footy. just crap. grow up.

I, too have little goodie into me at training when goal kicking practice comes around...lol

I, too have also endured Mike Santo's views on football, when I was playing next to him in our forward line...lol

I know where you are coming from there. He He He:D

if so care to enlighten us as to whats going on with umpires refusing to umpire nyora from no on, untill their safety is guarenteed?

cheers
goodie

Goodie, you must have a short memory, mate. 2 years ago we played there and the feral supporters were strategically placed around the ground. They were into us from the start to the end. One of the Seconds players that day left the ground, K-O'd a Nyora Supporter, got showered and left. Never to play again. They are out of control.

They were so bad, that as players, we made a call not to go into the rooms after the game because there would definately be trouble. We brought some beers off them and all left.

And they won.....

Imagine what happens when they lose?

I would be frightened if I was an umpire....hmm

yeah mate. 6.30...it's next door to the O&H so i might have to drown my sorrows afterwards, lol.

Yeah, good luck Big P. You might be alright. Our umpires arent the most stringent of people when it comes down to writing up a report. They will get it all wrong and you will probably walk away unscathed after a technicality.

Go get em, eh?

this is for the darnum guys out there, is there any truth to the rumour that some of your new recruits this year are getting paid around the $1000 mark, per game? Also is your coach from last year, carr i think, still playing for you? if not where did he go?

saw poowong nyora on the weekend the pies very impressive, had a couple of guns out in jess attenborough ang matt grant should only get stronger, might struggle 2 keep their intensity up 4 the whole season though

Not too sure who you are getting your mail from Falcor. Not even close to $1000.

Adrian Carr has moved on this year.

He was offered a job down Geelong way and has moved there to play for Grovedale. Hope he does well there.

Cheers
