I see Clattenbent has told the FA that he took the correct action when Rooney elbowed McCarthy, so there will be no retrospective action taken.

Quell ****ing surprise.

inb4 weak rooney defence by bb.

Rooney will have to shag the refs wife or do a Muscat to get suspended.

Tony Pulis can take his hat and shove it up his ass. Typical Stoke game and we throw away solid defending with a horrid set play

4am (WA time) for the Chelsea v Utd game. What is this?! Lucky I need to be at work for 7, so early night for me tonight :D

Just seems wrong that this game isn't scheduled for a primetime spot, the first game on the Saturday to kick off the weekend. Our extended break should hold us in good stead to pick up the 3 points.

Predicting a 2-1 win for us tonight. Torres to make Vidic his bitch like old times.

I'm pretty sure this game between Chelsea and Manchester United is rescheduled from earlier in the season, probably the reason it is on a Tuesday.

RoJo

It's prime time in England. Sorry it's not organised around what would suit viewers in Perth ;)
Tuesday night in Ingerland is primetime to watch ze futbol?

I know that the game was rescheduled from a couple months back, but surely bump a shitty fixture like the one v Wigan (sorry centrelink) last weekend to todays date, and made this game the first on Saturday would've been more ideal.

Btw the 4am start probably suits me better than a 12/1am start.

With the small matter that both clubs have other fixtures on next weekend already.

Apart from that, sound theory.

I think you misunderstood. This game could've/should've been played last Saturday, or even Sunday to be the game pre Carling Cup final. Would've been a great double header.

I think what he means is, the Wigan game should have been shifted from Saturday to Tuesday night and the Chelsea vs. Man Utd game should have been played on Saturday, since Chelsea weren't playing on the weekend because they were due to play Birmingham (who had the cup final) and the FA would have known the cup finalists a month ago.
