He could break his leg tomorrow and miss the rest of the season. He could continue the run of form he's been showing over the last 5 games with Rodri out of the team and a lot of City's players showing signs of fatigue. Other players like Cole Palmer could continue to score for fun.
So yes, he might. He's the favourite for a reason but it's not a certainty.

KDB was probably in the top 3 players on the field in each of those 4 games he played. He has an influence beyond just assists. Like he wouldn't have got an assist for making a run that dragged 2 players away from Haaland in the Chelsea game.

Second half wasn't much better.
