It's clearly offside in terms of Maguire being in front of the player. There is no question on that. The real question is does he affect the play.

That has been offside since before Covid. 5-6 years at a guess the rule was changed to make it so that being in an offside position does not automatically constitute an offside offence. But becomes offside if the player makes a play at the ball, successful or not, or by playing at the ball makes an opponent play at the ball.
