If the club is serious about the Prison Bars
Cracking Up Lol GIF

The Crows couldn't have played that any more in our favour if they tried.
"Expansion club" while Erin in her presser talks about lifelong dreams and her father's number, (as well as Charlie Dixon).

This is PR that cannot be bought.

If the club is serious about the Prison Bars, then they need to link in some mention of that guernsey with all this feel-good, positive reference to our history.

If they don’t use those photos of her wearing the Prison Bars as a kid they deserve a good slappin’.

As much as I'd prefer the Crows hadn't been successful, I'm glad she won a lot there so there's no sense of unfinished business muddying the waters.

This is a brilliant signing, and she's going to wear 22, and you'd have to think she's a decent chance of wearing #1.

The club need to move heaven and earth to get her in the PBs at least once.

Reading the Club story relating to her signing and press conference, boy oh boy (or should it be girl oh girl?), now THAT is the rhetoric and unbridled positivity you want to hear coming from your footy side.

None of this wishy-washy, mealy mouthed whimpering about how tough the competition is, etc etc.

Just gun barrel straight, down the line, come at me you bastards "I'm thrilled to be here / couldn't be prouder / wanting to replicate this club's history of success / wanna play the premiers first up" no holds barred we want success - and we want it NOW 😜👍🏉😃

About time someone at Alberton started to think this way.

Now get the blokes running this Club to start thinking like this.

Enough conditioning fans to temper our expectations. We want to hear ruthless determination, and a full and frank committed drive for success.

The daughter of a Legend has spoken. Heed her words. Mimic her deeds. Go forth and dominate!

The best part of this is we don't have to see Greg Phillips donning a Crows polo anymore!

Great news though. Always hoped we'd get to see her play for Port Adelaide.

She's been an absolute superstar for us at the Crows and for the game itself. She's given us everything and embraced the Adelaide football club. As much as I would have loved to see her remain with us, it's good to see her finish her career with port, and she will continue to be huge for AFLW as a whole.

All the best to Erin and hopefully stays injury free!

She'll be 37 in about three weeks time - she may be older than the parents of some of our rookie signings ;)
6 and a bit years service and she can beat Vic Cumberland's record of 43 and 48 days - playing 10 games in 1920 when he returned from WWI, after last playing in 1915.

However Shine Hosking made 3 appearances after he was 37 for Port. He was born January 1888 and played until he was 33 but made a few appearances after retirement. This article was written when Dustin Fletcher hit 40 in 2015.

Few know Hosking's playing career extended right up until the age of 48!

First playing for Port Adelaide in 1907, Hosking wore the black-and-white 'wharf pylons' continuously until 1921, but played League football in 1927 and 1936 as well.

His prowess as a player was undeniable.

One only a handful of men to win multiple Magarey Medals as the state's best and fairest player (in 1910 and 1915), he was also a member of the club's premiership and national championship winning teams in 1910, 1913 and 1914.

A member of eight premiership sides as either a player or coach, he played two games in 1927 and then was an emergency 19th man as coach in 1936.
