ASADA will punish infractions at their discretion, 2014 & beyond.

Your club apparently had approval from ASADA to clear your name - did they show it to stop all this speculation?

Like I have been saying all along that they are only going to get a 2 mill fine have been having that way for a long time.

In light of the most recent revelations - I think we can re-visit no. 5.

You'd have to think that there now will be no infraction notices against any Essendon player - so it's now a matter of the AFL and Essendon sitting down, coming up with something which will please the peanut gallery, allowing the four individuals to pretty much escape all punishment, and planning for 2014 in clear air.

The government, ASADA, WADA and the ACC can then go please themselves in which ever way they want. It would now appear they are the most culpable of all.

That might be a good call - but Essendon then have to weigh up: why are we paying a $2 mill fine when the ACC, Government, WADA, ASADA, the AFL and a rabid media have done much, much more to bring about the present situation then we ever did.

The pragmatist in me hopes that the end outcome is something similar - and we move on - let the media frenzy descend on the Government, ACC, ASADA and WADA.

It's now clear that the "god knows what" was very little and nothing worth worrying about.

It's now clear that we have had a frenzied media response over nothing.

It's now clear that ASADA and the AFL bear some responsibility for allowing this endless speculation when they could have provided greater clarity from the outset.

It's now clear that the Government and the ACC contrived a major issue where there was none.

Sorry, have come late to the party. Did Essendon establish what drug was injected into unsuspecting players? You know, the one from New Mexico.

I think it is more the use of language to discredit again. She could say they were in talks, or negotiating etc, but 'Secret Talks' implies something sinister etc, when it would be standard for anyone in this position. Courts are always the last alternative.

If you are that interested - search through the many threads on the topic. I can't remember which one. I know it was when some article mentioned thymosin being used to treat cancer and from there the jokes about Hird and players having cancer started.
There has also been many posts that state James Hird is worse than Hitler.

I'm not searching for these disgusting posts - you can do that

You don't think dank would have shown this if he actually had it? Let your club AND his reputation get flushed down the toilet, all the while hanging on to vital evidence that would clear you both? That is hilarious.
