yeah, count me in, i'm the carlton bloke Dapper is talking about! But only if the prize pool is weighted for overall points.

Say if we get 18 players the split would be say $1400 for overall, $200 for 2nd overall and $200 for league Grand final win?

1st overall - $1300
2nd overall - $400
League winner - $100

1200 - 400 - 200 IMO. The league win should be worth more than money back, but that's just my 2c.

Surely the league winner gets the lions share?

The overall prize (ie. who scores the most points over the year) is a far lesser prize. If you just wanted to track that than it would be pointless forming a league.

The way I would do it:

1st (Winner of GF) - $1200
2nd - $400
Overall (points) - $200
