Is @telsor1962 himself Martin Hardie?
MadMan it's actually telsa1962 and no I am not Martin Hardie and nor do I know him. Surely my obvious lack of knowledge on legal issues rules that possibility out. I am more into science than law. I have never been called a loon but as far as birds go they have spectacular plumage don't you think?

That makes you a prime candidate!

Hardie is a lightweight with an overinflated sense of self worth.

You seem to think you are the foremost expert on PED/Steroid use eh? Dead set referring steroids to drinking a cup of COFFEE???? How about some academia for you? http://www.bbc.com/news/science-environment-24730151 A recent study among many over the years about the long term benefits to steroid use. Id be interested to see your study on the comparison of steroids to coffee by the way...

How about the output of Paul Erdos. I personally prefer micro-doping amphetamines with caffeine. Mathematicians working in academia are the intellectual equivalent to professional sports people are to physicality.

She's been screwing Essendon for well over a year now.

Some claims by Caro: *stolen from a another bomber supporter.

"My sources tell me that, right now, no-one wants re-sign with all this uncertainty"
"The club is going to be forced to look at other players, maybe older players, to fill their list"
"I've heard that there are several players who won't sign with the club if Hird is returning as coach"
"I don't think the players are happy that Hird is due to return"
"I don't see how the club fields a team if they bring back Hird"
"The club is set, right now, to lose up to half of its list, as they ask to be traded"

Reality:

Essendon players who have re-signed during the 18-month AFL/ASADA supplements investigation.

Nick Kommer - February 2014

David Myers – December 2013

Tayte Pears – November 2013

Nick O’Brien, Kyle Hardingham, Dustin Fletcher, Travis Colyer – October 2013

Tom Bellchambers, Jason Winderlich, Cale Hooker – September, 2013

Jake Melksham – August 2013

Mark Baugley, Jackson Merrett, Elliott Kavanagh, Jason Ashby

Who else is going to take them at their full wage with the revelation of the threat of a career ending suspension hanging over their head?

Had to sign. No other sensible club would risk taking them on.

Wonder what his take is on the ASADA demand that the application must also include the 34 players? Because quite simply it has to otherwise it will be thrown out of court.

ASADA is currently taking action against the players, not the Essendon FC or James Hird. As such neither party is directly invovled, but are only involved as a secondary party to the action.

also
remember there was a long list of prohibited substances the players had taken
long, long, long list
including mysterious substances
so mysterious, no one knew what they were
mysterious stuff
and now its all reduced to TB4
and we all know ASADA dont have the evidence
and are using the ol' dirty copper telephone book trick to get confessions
hopefully the courts will set the dirty copper straight

Scaremongering!

Propaganda!

Hi Robbo.

LOL!!! You are one of the many who don't know what PED's do. They don't make anything grow, they allow your cells to recover from stress or strain quicker. So when you do weights the idea is that you cause micro tears in your muscles and in the process of healing those your muscles grow. If animals didn't have this attribute then we'd never develop muscles to do tasks that become appropriate for our survival.

The best analogy of steroids is a cup of coffee. Sure it helps you stay awake to do a boring job sedentary job but it doesn't perform the tasks.

A sure sign that someone is on roids is coming back very quickly from injury.

A little bit of knowledge is a dangerous thing.

The summary of the mechanism is decent. The conclusion you draw is not.

The connection between steroid or similar substance use and increases in injury rates is well documented. Here's a couple of not too technical articles to get you started.

The information on the temporary benefit of HGH and its derivatives in partly cancelling out the tendency to increased injury is of particular interest to us.

anecdotally tho, pretty clear to see.

i like the hgh with the testo chaser, really supercharges the explosivity.

If you were 'certain to win this particular legal case', Essendon would have never self-reported in the first case.

True it was led by Evans, but it had to be ticked off by the same board that still largely is intact.
