But they aren't out there on the field playing footy. What else is the crowd gunna do?

Maybe if people are so unhappy with the events that have transpired they should take it out on those who facilitated it. More anger should be directed at the club and the AFL for not banning Jobe from playing.

If people agree with the suspension for Milne despite a presumption of innocence, I don't know why Jobe is allowed to play despite admitting guilt.

What? Booing Jobe is the most direct way of objecting to the AFL's handling of it.

The vast majority of non Essendon fans are pretty much disgusted and angered with how this issue is being handled by the image and dollar conscience AFL and it's subserviant media whores We've had a complete gutfull of the lies, deceit, spin, bullshit, cover-ups, denials, 'coincidences', etc etc etc that are being spewed out from Bomberland. It gets worse by the week. Could you imagine the local media's reaction if half the English cricket team was in Essendon's mess 2 weeks out from the ashes?? Or if the Sooceroos missed out on the World Cup on goal difference because an opponent had been on a similar 'supplements program to that of Essendon'????? The hypocrisy and double standards of the media is simply astounding. The AFL simply hides behind the good old 'due process' line and hopes the 'problem' fades away somehow.
I would have no objection and encourage all decent football fans to send a message to the AFL and to those drug cheats they are trying to protect. Every time Essendon score a goal, drown out the cheers of those delusional and gullable Bomber fans by booing as loud as you can. It's sickening the protection Essendon is being afforded. Time for the fans to send a message. The integrity of the game is being trashed and turned into a complete circus.
Couldn't agree more, l was astounded today how the media sycophants were saying the presumption of innocence should be afforded to someone who had confessed
How many times do people need to be told that they have no idea about the investigation in its entirety . I know you all would like to think that you are that important that you can stomp your feet and cry foul that the BIG BAD AFL have done you wrong and someone needs to pay for it .
All Essendon are saying is that let the investigation run its course and when it finishes then we can talk about the penalty , is it that bad that you cant wait ?
I would like to think that " all decent football fans " think the same but then again this is BF .

I wish I could add something witty to the thread that hasnt been said, and be the recipiant of the obscene amount of likes being handed out. Some of those numbers are crazy.

If Jobe had waited no one would have booed.

You can't admit to taking a banned drug, whilst claiming innocence, then explain that you can't make any further comments as the investigation isn't finished. Well actually you can, but its ridiculous.

It might have been a slip up by Jobe I can understand that but he was asked questions and answered them . I know he maybe added more fuel to the mob that want to make Essendon pay for something/nothing they have done but the booing was over the top .

Because its believed it replenishes isotonics or some shit.

Basically it enhances performance.

Difference is gatorade is legal.

What a stupid comment.

Yeah needles are legal too.
But not if they are full of shit that has been smuggled from Asia:confused::thumbsdown:

And neither of which is accurate.

Moreover, both are a complete crock of shit.

So you made two statements, and you couldn't get one of them right - not even from a factual perspective. Words exist to describe that level of 'special typing' you know....

It is.

Are you aware of any player to have been charged with a doping violation?

it says alledged DOPING violation ,it was a investigation behind closed doors but Jobe opted to confess his violation on TV interview.
So AFL must act on self confession now or face anger from booing disgrunled AFL fans EVERYWHERE ..

If you could please replace the quotes with the correct terminology i would be look forward to reading them. :thumbsu:

It was a investigation behind closed doors was it?

And clearly, as you say, Jobe confessed his violin on the TV box.

The AFL definedetly needs to act on the disgrunleded fans of the NHL.

The NHL has for far too longer contribed the puddle that was what the bestedest.

its all because its precious old jobe.

The Crowd can do whatever the hell they want imo.

Didak got jeered by Melbourne supporters when he got injured and subbed once in the first quarter, and their was no media outrage about that.

Hell even guys like Riewoldt and Judd get jeered by crowds.(being a Collingwood supporter i have heard by fair share of booing)

It's apart of the game. The bottom line is he admitted to taking AOD, which does not sit well with some fans, despite having no intention to enhance his performance. People percieve things differently, and have different opinions of things, let them boo.

Personally i wouldn't boo him, but i'm not going to sit in this thread pretending i am some high moralled individual, because a lot of these essendon supporters who are getting riled up have jeered players for less significant things before.

Will do so when we get an opportunity to do so.

Essendon supporters who continue to regurgitate the party line, despite it being obvious that Hird has been lying through his teeth since day one, desearve everything their club and players cop.

The Essendon supporters I fel sorry for are the very few (just a handful) that have sought to put the interest of the players and club over the interest of Hird and his foolish disciples. The rest don't even deserve a club.

I hope Essendon folds because of this, and I hope most Essendon supporters quit the AFL and go off and follow some other sport. Hopefully one where taking banned PEDs and then lying about it is accepted practice.

There should be no place in our game for those that have damaged it by being stupid enough to allow themselves to be conned by James Hird.
