Huge 3 points, now out of the bottom 3 by a point AND with a game in hand.

Away to a relegated Watford and then two home games. We must be safe before that Arsenal game.

Nerve racking that game, Pickford huge again and give Keane his dues he did his job after coming on.

Free hit in my mind on Thursday morning and then next Sunday Goodison is going to be rocking blue smoke.

Leeds have Chelsea, Brighton and Brentford
Burnley have Spurs, Villa and Newcastle.

We have Watford, Brentford, Palace and Arsenal.

Advantage Everton IMO as I can see one of Leeds or Burnley dropping all three of their games.

I think beating Watford will make us safe with the other 2’s remaining games, but having a game in hand is a huge plus for us.

Our fans have been amazing in the last week. Huge & supportive welcome for the Chelsea game and a great atmosphere created. Huge send off from Finch Farm on their way to Leicester, then at the game 3,500 fans drowned out the 30,000 odd home fans for much of the game. It will be the same for Watford, whose fans probably don’t care much any more, but will probably make some noise as they hate us

The fans have been huge and the players have responded. Not safe yet but really heartening to see.

Frank seems to ‘get’ Everton, really like him as manager.

Myko has really come on, what a finish. Barely miss Digne now and made a nice little profit too.

Pickford has been immense.

Digne's crossing is still better than Myko. But he's coming on slowly.

I'd say that's fair, but I think Myko could end up better defensively. He could also have dobbed 2 goals from the last 2 matches, and Digne hadn't been offering much in the way of goals for a fair while with us.

His goal must be a contender for Goal of the Season? Ripper.

Hopefully he's not out for a while after coming off. I dare say JJK will be playing left back against Watford. Also Yerald needs to be not injured.

Palace is now a must win, a draw is not enough
Yep. A draw would give us a chance to steal a point at Arsenal for safety, so would take it over a loss but ultimately must win against Palace.

**** me I hope we stay up.

Just to spite all those "anti-football" comments we have been receiving lately. Some of it probably is warranted, but the sheer volume of them from the public and the Everton haters has been insane. **** them. When you're up against it, the quality of your squad is low, the cohesion is poor, you've got a new manager (again!), you do what you can; you scrap, you make things difficult for your opponents, you waste time when you can, you get in your opponents face, you try to get under their skin (you also try not to get sent off in the process, though).

If other clubs did the same as in cup final when they're 1-0 up or to win the league, they'd be praised for it

Still think we are safe as I can't see Leeds beating Brentford at Brentford.

Even Burnley I suspect won't win either of their games against Villa who beat them a couple weeks back and Newcastle.

But we just need to beat Palace to put an end to this nightmare. Get 2 up and then park the bus.

Red cards won't hurt us as they were to players who are expendable anyway.

EVERTONNNN, THE SPIRIT OF THE BLUES!!!!!!

It's our own modern day Wimbledon!

I grew up in Victoria and barely knew the sport until 1996 when we moved to WA. I knew the story and I’ve seen the highlights, but never wanted it to happen again though.

That was fu*ked, 0/10 would not recommend.
