It is not a power on the field, and that is all that really matters. Win flags you become a power off the field. Richmond are by far now the biggest club in Victoria. How we all laughed at Gale when he said 100,00 members, 2 flags etc. Guess what?

McGuire has been no good since the succession plan, it was a weak effort by a bloke who could not make the hard call on who was going to coach the club so he took an each way bet. When MM flagged he did not have the balls to alter the plan. The rest is history. Since then he has spent all of this credit. For all the advantages this club has, his admin has under performed re the only measure that matters, FLAGS. This ain't the stock market, no one cares about profit, this aint the Govt, no one cares about social programs.

Get back to basics, focus on footy and piss everything else off. This club blows is its own worse enemy, it makes poor decisions, fails to capitalize its opportunities (one flag from the 2010 team is a very poor outcome given its age profile) and then blames external factors and bullshits its supporters about what matters.

Phillips: please I think we won this trade pick 65 is great for someone who just runs also we got a potential superstar in rantall who can fill his role in the short term.

No, our list is bad. It was poor before yesterday, and now it is bottom 6. Our best 22 might be competitive with mid-ladder teams, but we will get injuries, so then look at our players 23 - 30, and we cannot compete.

Because this year was basically a free hit? There's never been abetter time to blood youngsters. If a player is good enough, they get a game. We had a lot of players in average form across the season. There were plenty of chances to get at least one game.
