I'd be hopeful Balta gets a run along with CC-Jones at some stage. Definitely a hole to fill without Griffiths. Only Chol and Callum Moore ahead of them but even then they can be quickly overtaken I think. Hampson (if fit) could be a good option too, but he's only there for depth at best.
Soldo should get a few more games this year I think.

Naughton is still sliding. AFL Draft pick 9 and we're almost 30 picks later.
Not sure he'll be all that fantasy relevant yet though.

Naughton is a Jake Lever carbon copy. Lever was good enough in non-fantasy terms to get that massive deal from Melbourne, yet was ranked 218 in fantasy terms here. Not terribly surprised he's slipped this far and probably will continue to slip.
So Lever would be your 11th best player based on rankings... I took Lever in his draft year with a pick in the mid-30's, which I thought was a bargain. He doesnt dominate all categories, but is going to get above average kicks and marks, and has a great knack at getting frees.. I expect him to do very well at the Wombats!

In play style, not in statistics - my point being is that I doubt Naughton will ever be good enough to command that kind of AFL salary, so even if he's 80% of the non-fantasy player that Lever is (the most likely scenario), then he'll be a 300-ish ranked defender in our league.
Lachie Henderson on the table for a live pick in the draft if someone wants some reliable depth down back.
Edit Jack Silvano too if anyone wants some goalscoring. Looking for another pick in the 40s or maybe even 50s.

Pick 39 - Sam Draper.
There are a few players still on the board I *really* like, and considered trying to 'live-trade' for another pick in this range so I could grab one, but in the end decided to stick with the plan I in my head since the end of last year which was to have only the one draft selection and get Draper with pick 39.
Draper is the developing ruck to my Essendon ruck duo of Bellchambers and Leuenberger. From a list perspective he was a no-brainer, but there are players with more potential still on the board.
To have those three Essendon biys and also Longer, Hickey and Marshall from the Saints is grest peace of mind.
