Yeah I just dont want the order screwed up. If someone is after the same player it's only fair to get the system in place first.

Tag me when it's clear to go ;)

Geelong West Sparrows Draft Review

Pick 1 - Cam Rayner, what can I say he is the prototype forward I want, will spend something like 60/40 midfield and forward I don't care which, impacts the scoreboard, and is exciting to watch play.

Pick 6 - Jaidyn Stephenson, Again he is the prototype midfield forward option i wanted to add. I would have taken him at 4 or 2 had I kept these picks (I feel Deeman wanted LDU and Cerra just as much so it was the ultimate win/win trade). Stephenson has impacted games at all levels since under 16 as well as in the TAC finals 2 years ago when 16.

Pick 27 - James Worpel wasn't who I had planned on drafting but was just to good to pass on, especially after the teaser I saw during his AFLX campaign and the fact Hawthorn need young players, could be a massive tackling asset, thought he would have gone early 20's.

Pick 31 - Traded up for Wil Powell and it's just because I think he looks exciting. Being dubbed the next Jack Martin at GC, I can see why, there is little footage of him although he seems tough for his size and frame and neat with his disposal, I like drafting players once they clearly display value and this is just that.

Pick 55 - Traded along with a future pick swap for Mitchell Hibberd. I rate my future picks highly although this is an 8 pick downgrade at best. Mitchell was a guy I wanted during his draft year and if he can put a full season together I think he has many tools which will see him fit in that kangaroos rebuild.

Pick 73 - Nicholas Shipley is another guy I wanted a long way out and was really happy he was available here as he was my original target at 55. He is already one of the best runners at GWS, he has "elite" hands inside and really that's more than many other players start with, especially at pick 73.

Just to clarify if i use a fa waiver then go back to 14 but am last on the table after the weekend do i remain at 14 or does it go back to ladder position after a round is completed

In what year do you expect to have players starting in your lineup?
2022. When I say on the block it doesn't mean fire sale it just means I'm gauging interest/value in one of my more proven mid prospects. All of my players are technically on the table as I just try and get as much fantasy talent on the list as I can.

Was a tongue in cheek comment, you are pushing a super hard rebuild which will benefit you in 3 years time
