LWP has Darcy Cameron too, who now has one less obstacle in his way to play AFL

Now I just need Tom Nicholls to DO SOMETHING!

Thought he was going to a new club for sure at the end of 2017. Dogs, Freo, Lions... all could have brought him in as a #1 ruck.

Had hopes for Nank (not winning a flag with Richmond hopes) but thought he was going to be behind Hampson for a year or two at least while the Tigers struggled.

Ugh... Im bad at this haha

Ive got a tough decision for list management i'd appreciate some input. Using afl fantasy scoring in a 33 player team of 6 teams. 23 are keepers. Ive narrowed my keeper list down to 26. And will likely cut 3 off the following blokes which 3 would you cut?
Higgins
B.Hill
T.Mcdonald
H.Bennell
M.Wallis
Neal-Bullen

Prior to these 6 i have
2 rucks
10 mids
5 backs
3 forwards.

Seeing your draft pool will consist of all bar 138 players.....personally I would delist all of those mentioned.

My suggestion would be to look at your draft pool and if there is 18 players available you would take over any of the players you mentioned, there is your answer...

It looks like Ultimate Footy have settled on the first lot of positional changes for 2018... They have made only 11 changes from the default Champion Data positions that SC use etc.

Good news for whoever has Gunston, Lobb, Blakely and L.Weller!

How does the positional changes from 2017 to 2018 affect your squad?

Weller and Gunston big ones there. With Weller moving to the GC he’ll be almost exclusively used in the middle and should get heaps of it. Whoever gets to play him down B will rake it in. And Gunston providing goals from the back line will equate to some monster score tallies.

Great question tenderwarrior !

For me, the following changes...

Paul Seedsman and Declan Mountford receive Defender status, both becoming D/M

Jackson Thurlow receives Midfielder status, also becoming a D/M

Brandon Ellis and Jake Lloyd becoming pure Defenders, losing Midfield status

Wayne Hoskin-Elliott, Karl Amon and Hugh Greenwood become pure Midfielders, losing Forward status.

Josh Thomas loses Midfield status, becoming a pure Forward

Brad Scheer changes from Midfielder to Forward.

These changes, for the most part, won't make too much difference, but it probably means that I play two rucks less often, as I look to find an extra spot in the 22 to play an 8 or 9th midfielder in Polec/Hoskin-Elliott/Greenwood.

Newnes is great for you, especially when added to Yeo (and potentially a rejuvenated Kolojashnij) to a revamped Rockford back 6!

Adams for Blakely is a even out

Lobb being DPP is good

Howe being mid only will suck

Otherwise business as usual

AFL fantasy has Brayshaw as a back which I find weird as a demons supporter

And

Degoey maintaining Forward which is pleasant

I suspect you’ll find WHE gets F status at some point with the position changes during the season too.

Newnes is great. Yeo will move back as JMart moves forward I suspect. I’m hoping to get some strong games out of Hanley yet but his injury in the International Rules won’t help.

Newnes ends up a strong best 22 player as a B. And, with GWS losing one running defender to Freo and another to injury I’m hopeful Shaw has a strong fantasy season down back too.

I'm going to assume this is done, but will wait on Tutty to confirm before updating. Nice trade though.
Yeah not much in it really, can argue the difference between the top picks are low this year imo very even. Makes sense for a tutty to tie Mcinerney to Smith and wait for Martin to retire. I have to many rucks as it is!
