Great to note that although Sergeant Morgan Rourke(Forrest Tucker)passed away years ago Larry Storch and Ken berry who played the bumbling corporal Randalph Agarn and captain Wilton Parameter are still with us.

Any love for F Troop out there?

Oh yes. My favourite show of all time just about.

I must point out that it is O'Rourke and Parmenter though.

As well as Larry Storch (who is pushing 90) and Ken Berry, Melody Patterson (Wrangler Jane) and James Hampton (Dobbs) of the main players are still with us.

And it was only last year that Don Diamond (Crazy Cat) passed on.

Interesting to note that Melody Patterson ( Wrangler Jane) was just 16 years old when this great series started.
Why it has not been released on DVD in Australia i'll never know, but i have both seasons on NTSC imports and they're great.

Chief Wild Eagle: Many moons ago tribe move west because Pilgrims ruin neighborhood. Tribe travel west, over country and mountains and wild streams, then come big day... tribe fall over cliff, that when Hekawi get name. Medicine man say to my ancestor, "I think we lost. Where the heck are we?"

I watched F Troop - but i'd never say it reached 'classic' status'.

Larry Storch is obviously great, but the rest of the cast were fairly average (except for Wrangler Jane, of course, who starred in several of my dreams).

Still, a hell of a lot better than some of the dreck on now.
