Theres an article in Sports Illustrated, they mentioned it would probably be after 2030 but they're gradually moving back in that direction.

One of their WEC drivers has also slotted into Alpine as a reserve driver. I suspect they'll buy an existing team rather than push for additional spots.

The next regs are due in 2026, so 2030 is next regs +1 and design on them hasn't even started yet.

Plenty of teams are already working on 2026 regs, and Toyota have said they've seen them.

I think from what I've read theyll likely join as an engine partner before then. But a full constructor effort would be beyond that.

Who would they buy though? Maybe Aston if Lawrence gives up, I doubt RBR would give up RBs. Haas may be the only one and that's just because Gene may have had enough. Alpine is a possibility also I guess.
