Is this their technical partnership with Haas, or something else? The Haas thing was announced a while ago.

Theres an article in Sports Illustrated, they mentioned it would probably be after 2030 but they're gradually moving back in that direction.

One of their WEC drivers has also slotted into Alpine as a reserve driver. I suspect they'll buy an existing team rather than push for additional spots.

The next regs are due in 2026, so 2030 is next regs +1 and design on them hasn't even started yet.

Your previous post implied that they were looking at joining in the 2030+ timeframe.
I think from what I've read theyll likely join as an engine partner before then. But a full constructor effort would be beyond that.

That's what a lot of people have been speculating would happen after they announced their "technical partnership" with Haas last year.
