Dropping pittard could be the match winning move right there.Port has gone with big bodied midfield- Ebert, Wines, Rockliff and SPP.
Whilst they have lost speed in Amon, Pittard, Barry and Johnson

No surprise Neade keeps getting games, their small forward depth is so atrocious they had to go out and recruit Lindsay Thomas. They have been smashed in contested ball so they are obviously trying to correct that with the inclusion of Rockliff and SPP however I’m oaper it does look like they have lost outside spread and run
I can’t believe Neade has been selected zero kicks and 5 handballs last game, Whingard has to be a risk if he plays and I’m not convinced that Rocky is right and SPP is in good form
Plenty of unanswered questions for
port
The last time Port won a home showdown was the first AFL game at the (re-developed) Adelaide Oval in March 2014.
Over four years ago!
We were pure shit that day.
There’s polec to worry about for usDoes Seed get looked after and by who or do Port try and run against him?
Unfortunately think were going to drop this one. A few to many key players out and Port have loaded up.
Will be interesting to see how traveling effects there run. But think were going to go down by 2-3 Goals
Schadenfreude:.. he had to hobble off in obvious distress..
Well if they play him and he does it again they’ll only have themselves to blame..
Watching the footage of him doing it you’d think it wasnt just a minor strain.. he had to hobble off in obvious distress..
I don’t think they could play that style in this game if they wanted to.The way they beat North concerned me.
Crowd the opposition forward line then score quickly on the counter. Couple that with our two losses coming from teams killing us on the outside with run and quick spread from stoppages.
Even the trial game between us we lost the second half when Bonner and Barry took the game on and beat us on the counter.
With Port bringing in two inside mids and Wingard 13 days from a hammy ping as well as ommitting Barry and losing Aiden Johnson I feel a bit better.
Need to lock down on Polec and Motlop. The only two real outside players in their team with Pittard, Aamon, Barry and Aiden Johnson out.
Getting smashed in CP last week has spooked them into these changes. But it has also brought the game back more onto our terms with our slowish contested ball winning midfield of M Crouch, CEY and Greenwood.

Vaguely remember having 8 of our best 22 out that day, not that Port Power fans remember! We were pure shit that day.

Anything like when Talia grabbed dramatically at his hammy in the opening seconds of the game against Gold Coast last year... to be taken off, only to play the following week??Can't believe he's back really, I was watching when he did it and I thought he'd be out a month minimum by the way he was carrying on. What a princess.

You mean the one where he still managed to run a few paces and kick the ball, compared to wingard who went off like he'd torn it off the bone?
