Let's be honest Windsock, you & I could go down to the local park, pick 11 cricketers from there & they'd give the Poms & Kiwis a run for their money.

Pretty close to the truth. I was wondering just yesterday whether an Australian 2nd XI would have won the Ashes. I'm not certain they would have—the Australian side this summer is really very strong and really demoralises the opposition—but it would have been a lot closer I think.

The conversation with Cox on the ABC was funny. Whoever he was talking to just assumed he supported Essendon and his reply was: wash your mouth out; it's the Western Bulldogs. They then went on to reflect that it was looking good for us this year.

Mark Doran interviewed Chas somebody from Chasers War on Everything.

He had been in court today over the skit where he was trying to sell knuckledusters and knives to Bulldogs (NRL) fans.

Doran asked him how he didn't get killed by the Canterbury Bulldogs fans, and the Chas guy said he told them "he was a passionate Bulldogs supporter" but "I just didn't bother to tell them I love Aussie Rules and I am a passionate Western Bulldogs supporter"

One of the Darwin radio stations has a weekly segment with Chaz from the Chaser Boys, and on Monday he was asked to pick out his best news making events of the year and first place for him was the rise of Luke Dalhause (spelling??) with the doggies. He also mentioned that he spent the whole night of the logies sitting there at his table with the radio at his ear listening to the Doggies/Pies game, more interesting than Logies.

Who is Sarah Jane? She was the #1 female ticket holder if that wiki was correct.

Edit: Just found an old thread on her. http://www.bigfooty.com/forum/showthread.php?t=34909

Is she still alive and modelling? Seems like she has fallen off the face of the planet.

Pretty good looking for a WB supporter! :D

When I was at primary school, I had an imaginary friend, who grew up to be one of the most famous rock guitarists in the world. But, he was also a one-eyed Footscray supporter, always checked the scores when playing to huge stadiums o/s, and was always ready to come back and play at the Grand Final when we (eventually) make it.

We haven't spoken for a few years though....

I know this thread has been 'Cold' for a long time but I had a brainwave why don't we bombard celebs on twitter/facebook to try and gain some support from there followers for the doggies Yes/No/Maybe

Behold, the god of thunder! Chris Hemsworth is a lifelong Bulldogs supporter, as is his brother Liam, who has also risen to fame of late. Liam is also going out with Miley Cyrus, so I guess that makes her a Bulldogs supporter by association :p
