Yeh, noticed this on cricinfo before, quite an effort, just the 12 balls to smack a 50 is a fine effort, but then again it is Sri Lankan One Day first class cricket. I also saw the over where he belted (6,6,6,6,6,4), but then i saw it was against a 40-year-old slow left-armer, its good but by no means great.

Weeraratne has been tryed at International Level and failed pretty miserably, but is still a young face and if he continues to bat like this then he will get another call up.
