Can’t remember if Patrick played for metro in the National Championships, but sounds from the trials Charlie might be a chance

If he happens to make it he’ll get his chance to push his name higher up the pecking order

Then there’s the draft combine, I’m not sure if he’s a better athlete than Patrick, he’s certainly a lot bigger.

Looking at his size 188/79kg it’s looking like he may be a late developer, I’m pretty sure he wasn’t that size last year. He could be one of those kids that comes from the clouds.

Interesting to see his development btwn now and the draft
He certainly did , was AA u18

I have a feeling that one of Tom Roach or Andrew Raines (I think it was Rainsey) wasn’t selected as a father-son.

This was before the new rules around F/S were put in place, but I think you still had to nominate (but it wasn’t a match bid required) but Raines wasnt. Richmond selected him anyway.

That’s my vague recollection of it; so likely incorrect.
Always thought Raines would be a fair player dunno why he hit the wall

The Age reported today that the Tassie team will be able to f/s any kid whose dad was born in the state and later played 100 AFL games. They're gonna come for Jack and Richo's kids.

They're welcome to Richo's. Nah I doubt it'll happen it'll be like WA or SA where your dad played 200? games for one of the Tasmanian league teams. Jack played 330+ games and Richo 280 they're Tigers by birthright. Tassie teams had SFA to do with them besides maybe 30ish games in U16 - U18's. Fu@k em. If we like it or not Benny's odds on to head to AFL house he's not gonna screw his old club over.

I have more of a feeling he will be the next CEO of Tasmania rather then second with the AFL.
