Melvic Pambai? 2025 class. Any good?
Played 2 CTL games last season, so maybe a chance to get drafted.

Edit not picked in the Bendigo Pioneers 2025 squad

Russell Clark (2026), Zaydyn Lockwood (top ager) have been picked along with Cody Walker (likely to nominate Carlton)

Reckon there will be a change when GC start being a genuine contender.

until then the AFL will want to feed their new borns with extra players for cheap.

2025 The new rules will reduce the discount for matching bids from 20% to 10%.

Suns will need to give up more valuable picks to match bids.

Swans days of gaming the COLA has ended.
The brouhaha about the Suns 4 top picks coupla of years ago has already seen change.
A huge chunk of the millions the AFL spend on the Suns is the academy. U13 now I think. AFL Football is booming in the SEQ area. Suns come down to N NSW for clinics. Doing a good job with soccer mums who know rugby is for brutes.
Game day attendance at Metricon is steady. With no finals.

If Rioli is the missing ingredient, could be making the finals for the first time.

nick daffy was a gun there for a bit

not sure what happened
Combination of things really.

Daffy really, in my memory, only had three very good seasons but was paid a kings ransom. 1995, 98 and 99.

The first he really stepped into the breach when Richo did his knee, kicking goals from everywhere. In the latter two he was an extremely skillful midfielder but seemed to really go to water when there was intense physicality and especially against very good sides. Think he was worked out by the Sheedy types and this really hurt the side in those games.

Once he did his shoulder he was already very much on the slide and it was a good bit of business moving him on for Stafford.

Louis Kellaway x 2 games done, just got to edit it together.

I really get Shane Edwards vibes from him with how he moves and vision in traffic at times.

Just been watching a under 16s game of Jack Leys where he had 37 disposals and a goal. Kid has some wheels! Looks like a leader out there too directing traffic.

Will hopefully have a video out of each player in early Feb!

I love a bit of hype and good luck to the FS's but i think its probably the most over rated thing in football.
Remember the hype around Patrick Naish? He was a massive spud.
I thought he was pretty scrawny actually.

I'll let myself out

If he is another Shedda I will be freaked out, in a good way

What I liked about him is he gets on the move at stoppages.

Doesn’t always get the ball obviously, but is rarely flat footed when he does get it.

Thursday night at 7pm I have a 5 minute highlights video dropping of Louis Kellaway!

This will possibly be the first time a lot of people have seen any of his games. Footage from Sturt games and the SA Under 17's Futures game where he was named in the best.

I think he is tracking very very well.

Far from it. Daicos x 2 and Moore. On the back of the Clokes, Shaws and I’m sure a few I’ve forgotten.

GAJ, Hawkins, Scarlett … Cats won 3x flags on the back of F/S fortune.

Ashcroft x 2. Lions gets 2 x likely #1’s after 6-years of being a top-4 team and winning a flag (one of them wins N/S).

Sam Darcy. Croft. Libba.

I won’t go on … but some good fortune in the F/S space is what has literally won multiple flags.

If we can jag a few bonuses from 2026-2029 during ‘Tassie’ drafts it’ll ensure we have a list capable of contending on the back of our 2024-25 draft bounties.

Pies also got Quaynor through their academy(by pulling a swifty.)

Dogs also got Hagan through their academy.

We did get my favourite, Maurice Minor, but that is it for us for the last 25+ years as far as getting a leg up from f/s or academy.

Ironically, by far the best we've had during that time is the son of a father from another club.

Thankfully Murray never got to 100 games with either the Dogs or Eags.

And then the best the Eagles have had themselves would be Jeremy McGovern, the son of a former Swan.
