If we're ever going to bid on a kid with an early pick, then it needs to be Walker if he warrants it. Make Carlton pay up big or we get the kid we've put time and money into developing along with Carlton

Depending on how Carlton perform in 2026, they legit might not be able to afford him.

Jack Leys averaged 28 disposals in the Unders 16's last season, pretty good going and hopefully he keeps putting up those numbers. Going to try make a video on him soon.

The other player I was looking up is Charles Bowden, son of Joel, playing in the NT.

In the 23/24 season he seemed to have a pretty solid year featuring in the best's 5-6 times but I can only see that he has played 1 game in the 24/25 season back in October.

Anyone know much else about Charles?

Just had an update on Nick Daffy’s son.

Made the main falcons under 18 squad as an under age player which is very good and came 2nd in a 2km time trial.

Positive signs!

Very true no harm in having pace when he sees rfc coming for him he will be able to out run them lol

A poster on the MB has Jackson Butterworth (Richmond NGA) as a top prospect for 2028. This is a write up for when he played for Vic U12s

Jackson Butterworth

Club: Echuca Bombers

Position: Utility

Can play in all positions. Butterworth has a strong ability to break away from stoppages and he is a “great kick”. His positional flexibility was handy in the tournament and he is a player likened to Luke Hodge in the way he can use his footy smarts.

Sounds exciting. But the way the QLD academy’s are spitting out top kids , one good kid in ours over every ten years doesn’t really compare.
It wouldn’t surprise me if there’s a backlash and the system it turned on its head around tassy intro.

Reckon there will be a change when GC start being a genuine contender.

until then the AFL will want to feed their new borns with extra players for cheap.
