I think Geelong have a couple more this year. Or it may be next year.
I think that there is a Bairstow at South Fremantle who is eligible. There is a younger one but he is only 16.Is Clay Johnson eligible for this years draft?
Another Kennedy to Hawthorn either this or next year.
Darcy Daniher (son of Anthony) qualifies for both Sydney and Essendon.
Plays for Calder.
Cale Morton is a gun but why would we get him under father son?Carlton should draft Cale Morton this year.
Whoosh!Cale Morton is a gun but why would we get him under father son?
I hope the Hawks don't Draft Ben Kennedy just because he is a Kennedy.Another Kennedy to Hawthorn either this or next year.

Got a feeling we might have to offer Darcy a longer contract then usual for a draftee. Sydney would throw the kitchen sink at him... They cant have got over gifting us Hird..
Almost exactly the same as the Gibbs case, instead its West Coast getting screwed out of picking up Mitch's brothers
I don't think we'll have to much trouble, he lives down the road from Windy Hill
I can guarantee a few changes to the father son rule this year.
There wont be any Tom Hawkins type kids going for a 3rd rounder this year.
How can you guarantee that?
Are you on the AFL commission?
its pretty obvious why he is guaranteeing it, with Hawkins being such a talent and would have gone in the top 3
This is why ive always said that the rule should be when the son is born (example if born this year its 100 games) because you give him the idea for most of his life that his career is at the club his father was tied to and then the year of or before he is eligble to be drafted you change the sydtem. No other system in the world would do such a thing. That way at the last minute you cant say we've changed it to 150 games, then 200 and so on.
And?
The F/S rule is to reward the player and the club by keeping their footy club in the family. Why should the AFL punish a club for trying to do this? If they change it now it undermines all the 3rd rounders previously used on F/S picks. Just like with the PP rule. This AFL administration just cannot help themselves. They are addicted to rule changes, both in the game and in other areas.
