Fargo easily. Brilliant movie.

No Country For Old Men is far and away my favourite of their films, and one of my favourites of all time. I do like all the rest of their films though, to varying degrees.

Of the one's I've seen, that would be my order. I really, really hated No Country, maybe partly because of how hyped it was before I saw it, but it is close to the most disappointed I have ever been leaving a movie. To me it was a movie without an ending and IMO the most overated film I have ever seen.

It had an ending, just not a typical ending where everything is wrapped up in a neat little fashion. And thank god it didn't.

What exactly is overrated about it, out of curiosity? Cinematography is stunning, the performances are all extremely strong, faithful to the book with the ability to get the tone of the book across extremely well, directing was again up to it's usual high standards...I'm not having a go, but simply not enjoying a film doesn't make it overrated.

True Grit, although better than the original, not worthy of repeat viewing imo.
