Adelaide - Graham Johncock. Don't know which is greater - his skills or his name.
Brisbane - Brendan Fevola. We need characters like him in our game. A dying breed. Woo! I've got a stiffy!
Carlton - Simon Wiggins. Pretty sure he is still on the list. Everytime he gets the ball, I think of the classic Derek and Clive line "Don't you look at Wiggins doing that". And I fancy his Mrs. Looks good in that diving cossie.
Collingwood - Much as I hate them, I quite like Steele Sidebottom. Brilliant name!
Essendon - Alwyn Davey. Cause I like the Daveys.
Fremantle - Tim Ruffles. Like the name.
Geelong - Cameron Ling. Great player and character, is always prepared to have a laugh at his own expense.
Hawthorn - Cyril Rioli. Because he's delicious.
Melbourne - Liam Jurrah. Will be a superstar in the next couple of years.
North Melbourne - Ben Warren. Can't think of anyone else I like at North. He has great hair. Although Simon Buckley could take his place as my favourite.
Port Adelaide - Justin Westhoff. Cause nobody hassles the Hoff.
Richmond - Jordan McMahon. I  Jordan. Kicks great goals from 50 metres out. Got us an extra pick. Awesome mo as well.
St Kilda - Brendan Goddard. Great backman and a local boy.
Sydney - Adam Goodes. Lives up to the name.
West Coast - Dean Cox. I  big Cox!......that didn't come out right.
Western Bulldogs - Barry Hall. A dying breed, like Fevola. A one-man highlights reel.
Gold Coast - Josh Toy. Awesome name!

Has now been replaced by Simon Buckley.

Adelaide: Simon Goodwin. As amazing as his career as been I feel he is kinda under-rated in Vic. Has played deep forward, half back and midfield with supreme class. Would be rated with Kouta, Grant, West etc just under Hird/Buckley/Voss.

Brisbane: Daniel Rich. The opposite end of the scale. I have never been as excited by a first year player as I was with Rich in 2009. Every time he got the pill in space you just knew it was going down Brown's throat. He is a gun and I expect him to be the next captain of the Lions.

Carlton: Chris Judd. At his best he is the number 1 player in the game. It's sad to see him struggling in the young Carlton midfield but hopefully with the added maturity of Gibbs, Murphy, Simpson, Carrazzo and McLean, Juddy will be able to get back to his absolute best.

Collingwood: Luke Ball. Yes he turned his back on the Saints but I love the way he plays. Hard, tough and selfless. I have seen this guy wrapped up so many times I've lost count. The Pies have got themselves a serious player here. He won't carry them to a flag alone but he will do everything his battered body allows.

Essendon: Paddy Ryder. This guy is a freak. He can play back, forward, ruck and rover all at an A grade level. I think the ruck is his best spot and I'd hope that he can keep his number one spot even with Hille coming back next year. Not afraid of flying for a big grab either!

Fremantle: Michael Johnson. Kind of a left field pick but I really like this guy. I think he has the potential to be as good as Sam Fisher andNathan Bock, playing at CHB but running off his opponent. Hopefully he gets a few more games in 2010.

Geelong:
Paul Chapman. I rate this guy alot. One of the best half forwards in the game. He can just turn it on (see the 09 GF) and win games off his own boot. Reminds me alot of James Hird who I rank as the best I've ever seen. I wish he was playing at my club.

Hawthorn: Buddy Franklin. It's hard to go past a bloke who's kicked 100 goals in a season. Half of them were porbably on the run or around the corner too. As exciting a player as we have in the AFL he is one of those guys that neutral fans would pay to go and watch.

Melbourne: Cale Morton. Reminds me of Brendon GOddard when he was first playing. Still looking for a spot, trying to work out whether he should bulk up or stay trim... A very smooth moving player that I think will end up in the middle, just like Goddard.

North Melbourne: Aaron Edwards. He's from out in my area and I've spoken to him at a fair few poker games. He was picked up then delisted then destroyed the VFL then picked up again. Not the most talented bloke obviously but gee he gets everything out of himself.

Port Adelaide:
Daniel Motlop. At his best I have him as one of the best 5-10 players in the game right now. He just can't seem to get it together for a full season. Does the rediculous things that we expect from players but he still manages to find ways of kicking goals no matter the situation. His performance against Essendon recently when he kicked 7 was mind blowing.

Richmond: Richard Tambling. Gotta cheer for the underdog. The poor guy was harshly judged because he was taken in front of Buddy but dammit I like him. He had to play under Terry Wallace and was used poorly before being given some freedom by Jade Rawlings. He can be a top line midfielder if given the chance and hopefully he can continue with his good form from the second half of 2009.

St. Kilda: Stevie Milne. I'm gonna get lynched here I know but Milne has been my favorite player ever since he started with the Saints. The best small forward in the game with an average of 2 goals per game. He has also kicked more goals in one game than any other current player with 11 vs. Brisbane. He is hated by opposition supporters and is a scape goat for Saints fans but through it all Milney just keeps kicking goals.

Sydney: Adam Goodes. The Mark 2 prototype player. Goodes has gone on where Kouta left off as one of the most versatile players in the comp. His move to CHF will be a good one for the Swans and he could possibly pick up another Brownlow in his twilight years. One of my favorite 5 players in the comp.

West Coast: Nic Nat. Like Rich, I was blown away by just how exciting this guy is. His last qtr against the Hawks last season was one of the most fun to watch in 2009 as we all screamed "NO, NO, NO, YES, NO, YES, YES, YEEESS!!" while watching him fumble recover, fumble again and then finish with a goal. He will have his face plastered everywhere inside 3 years.

Western Bulldogs:
Mathew Boyd. Gets nowhere near enough credit for his work with Cooney, Griffen, Cross, Johnson and Acker getting the limelight. He was lucky to be picked up and has made the most of his chance getting into the AA team in 2009.
