No she doesnt!
Googled her...first pic...
Maria has a nice figure but nothing else to recommend her to a red blooded male.

Ana Ivanovic by contrast looks like she's got a sense of humour and conveys an air of mischief and fun. A man can fantasise about what wickedness she might be up for. :thumbsu::thumbsu:

Eww
FFS

not hots for a girl are you srs?!?!?

I just hold the right to say it is a girl is pretty.

Understood?

You left the door wide open for that one, trying to convince a bunch of blokes that female tennis player A is better looking than female tennis player B.:p

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. And Sharapova's legs don't even get close to Steffi Graf's.

Female's opinion counts for nothing when it comes to the beauty of other women.

Maria Sharapova I do not find physically attractive at all (and personality-wise is revolting).

Ana Ivanovic is a good-looking girl, however became overrated once she gained fame.

edit: Female's opinion counts for nothing when it comes to the beauty of other women, unless the female is a lesbian or bisexual.

In tragic news Ana has been knocked out of the Open and her delightful talent will not be gracing the courts during week two. :(

i think female tennis players have the best figures out of most female sports. Hockey players come pretty close too.
On the other end of the scale is womens golf where it is flooded with butch behemoths, with the occasional sprinkling of eye candy.

Track and field athletes, ignoring the butch throwers have the best bodies IMO. You rarely see overweight athletes on the track or the jumping events like you do in tennis. The Volleyball girls at the Olympic level are pretty fine. Have a look at the Olympic Hotties thread I linked above.

yeah track and field isn't too bad but i find the runners, especially the sprinters a little too muscley(sp). I prefer the ladies to be toned. and yes those olympic volleyballers are quite nice although a bit too tall for me.

Sam Stosur is not in Ana Ivanovics league in terms of sheer good looks but she's OK in my opinion. I was watching her play the other day and I was struck by her muscle definition. She's the first Aussie woman that I can recall who clearly shows the effects of many hours in the gym and it makes her look much better than the slightly pudgy women of whom there are many on the circuit.

There's something about sheer good health in another person that is a turn on.

Right the Australian Open is approaching and that means it's once more time to enjoy the talent of Aussie Ana. I'm certainly hoping she can have a run that extends deep into the second week.

Some thoughts:-

Ana's tennis apparel this year is not quite up to the beauty enhancing standards of the summer of 2009. Still, she is undeniably attractive and therefore worth barracking for even if one were to forget that her boyfriend is Australian golfer Adam Scott. (Lucky bastard).

Last night I watched former Aussie Kim Clijsters duking it out with quite attractive Safarova at the Brisbane International. Now Kim comes across as one of the most level headed and pleasant personalities in womens tennis but she no longer has an Aussie man in her life so she is dead to me. Not to mention that....well, she's not exactly a beauty. Plays excellent tennis and is not a screamer like the detestable Sharapova but I shan't be following her closely.

Aussie Ana and former-Aussie Kim are going head to head in the semi-final of the Brisbane tournament and I fear the worst for the Serbian beauty. Come on Ana, dig deep and beat the Belgian cart horse. :thumbsu:

Another worrisome player is Justine Henin. She plays relentlessly good tennis but is unattractive to mankind.

I wish she would go away and leave the field clear for the more appealing players.

Am I shallow?

Edit:- Given that I've talked about Aussie connections it would be remiss not to mention Jelena Dokic. Now there've been a few times over the years when I've warmed to her fighting spirit, but alas she appears to have deep emotional scars due to her father the dreadful Damir.

To any young fellows out there who might be attracted to Jelena in happy mode, beware.

Sure she's not completely unattractive but she is high maintenance. Do you want to spend your life walking on eggshells for fear of this:-

Avoid.

YES... Ha, good review though, something I havent read previously! Any more reviews would be apriciated, I still think of Martina Hingis as a fall to sleep each night!

Sadly Aussie Ana was well beaten today, but not by Clijsters. It was the other Belgian Justine Henin that she played and lost to. If Clijsters wins her semi final sure there'll be good tennis in the final but there'll also be a distinct lack of glamour.

and a distinct lack of interest from the male population. Why else does one watch female tennis?
