Hey guys,

I can get this game for alot cheaper than what EB or jb hifi will advertise it for, but the only the catch is that its a Australia version game. How does this work will it be exactly the same game just a different cover? eg like cahill being on the game?

true...based on last years effort Im sure most fifa gamers would love even them to just fix player growth...if they can do more then that is a bonus of sorts...there is only improvement to be made after the worst effort in years for fifa and manager mode
 
It's a little frustrating that they are spruiking the inclusion of scouting; they had it in fricken FIFA 08!!

I know I'll end up buying it, probably on the first day, so I don't know what I'm on out :p

I don't get what is being asked (as I'm sure most others wouldn't).

If you can get it for a lot cheaper than EB and JB and it's the Aus version, where's the issue (or need for more info)?

It will work fine if you have a ps3 as the games are region free, not to sure about Xbox 360 tough.
 
Aren't the all the same except the cover athlete changes in some regions? You want to go through the hassle of shipping from Australia just to see Tim Cahill on the cover?

Thats what i was asking, i wasnt sure if it was the same game ie features of the game etc. I do live in australia, the site where i ship the games from is overseas though and they have the Australian version cheap. Thanks anyway.

Looks like some good improvements

Rutter did talk about Online Friendlies mode, A SPORTS Football Club, and how challenges will input storylines from the real world of football into the game. He also chatted about FIFA Ultimate Team and how it will ship with the disc, and allowing those who have used it before to get a head start on building your team starting on September 20.

Having gone into another season of player career mode on FIFA 11, I really hope they fix up the plethora of bugs in there. I still can't understand why my manager has me playing three games in six days when I'm absolutely exhausted.

Last year's certainly wasn't rubbish. The improvements that they are making this year will, in my opinion based on these early stages, make it a far better game.

It seems everything I hate about FIFA will be fixed in PES this year.

PES is for children, real men play FIFA. If you wanna talk about PES, go find the PES thread.

Well I watch every game of football, am a tradie, but not married/divorced to a bar attendant named Shaz and I play video games? Am I a real man?? :confused: :p
