WOWOWOWOWOW, people, get around me. Just swapped my pro from a striker to a CAM playmaker.....Went from 83 ov to 87, and I now have 6 specialties....

Customize FIFA > Edit Teams > Team Management > Chuck your Pro onto the Reserves list

Alternitavely you can transfer him to the Free Agents by going Change Squad/Rosters and transferring him.

I was playing professional but realised the only reason I was losing was because I was taking it too easy and doing lazy passes and pointless sprints with the ball so moved to world class. much better, winning most games

No idea, I see that the promo pack remaining packs is one, so maybe so. Then again, why would they not want people to spend money like that.

Question. If I was to play a normal exhibition match, choose my pro in the starting line up and have another player go the other team, leave the other controller and just do things with my pro would that work or not? I know its cheap as hell, I just cannot be assed really with the seasons with stupid CPU team mates. Rather play online with stupid humans.

They put a limit on how many packs you can buy per day to try and allow more players to get on the web app.

CPU defenders are waaaaay too good. Playing Pro Clubs at the moment, it's pretty much impossible to get past defenders 1 on 1 because they know every move you're going to make before you do. Every time I try to cut back into the box, they're always standing in the perfect position and make the perfect tackle. Not to mention the fact my 87 sprint speed Pro can be outrun by a 6'6' default.

I'm all for making the AI more difficult but this is a joke.

GRRR! You had to remind me! Ultimate team a couple days ago I had Kyle Walker chasing Peter Crouch (who had received a through ball from the half way line) and walker didn't even gain an inch on him, crouch actually gained more distance even having to do a finesse shot inside the box.

i dunno about pro clubs, but during team play I just go defensive and play normally or go counter attack. haven't lost yet since and the opposition hasn't broken my defence. (except seedorf who volleyed a lobbed pass from outside the box and it hit the top corner)

Trying to do that 2 controller thing. Very annoying. The computer does a lot of defending for the 2nd controller. Need a partner in crime have to get a mate to do it haha

I was hoping this would still be the case, in 11 played as the whole team every match, had my VP as a goal keeper. He made some ridiculous saves, then i saved a few pens, and a few other things went my way. Next thing i know ive scored 5 of the achievements for GK lol.
 
For anyone looking to create a dynasty in their Career Mode, make sure you check out the Player Potential List.

Gives you an indication of how good the young players in this game can get if they are given time to grow. Great list to use when deciding which young players would be the best signings for the future of your club.

Pretty sure I recommended Ninis before... scratch that. After being one of the best young players in FIFA 11, he only has a potential rating of 81 in this; 10 overall points lower than last year. :eek:

You seem to know a lot...Gota ask do specialties actually do anything or are they just an indication? And how do you get them, because I notice Ronaldo has FK specialist and he's 87 fk accuracy, I have 88 fk accuracy and I'm not
 
anyone using scouting networks on manager mode? I sent a 10 million dollar scout to Spain and got a couple of good prospects with 89 potential. My mate sent out the 100,000 dollar guy and got similar results. Makes me think the scouts ranking system is bogus.

Yeah I don't know how the different scout's work, I think it's just because they're more accurate on their potential rating and possibly more likely to find what you ask him to look for, just a guess though

Same thing happened to me a few days ago. I was about 10 games into the season. Had to delete my game save and haven't felt like playing since

I think only traits affect actual ability, not specialists. Specialists are, as you said, more of an indication of what skills a players possesses, so you can better judge what areas a player excells in. Traits though do have an impact on your actual playing ability.

As for the free kicks, I would hazard a guess that Ronaldo has better curve, shot power and finishing stats than your Pro (or whoever it is that you are using), therefore making him a better all round free kick taker and a free kick 'specialist'.

Specialists are simply unlocked by increasing your stats. If your finishing gets above 88 overall, you'll most likely become a clinical finisher, for example. All young players in the game can eventually develop specialities once their player growth kicks in (I got Ninis, a midfielder, to gain the Complete Forward speciality last year).

Yeah since then the game has updated and I've got the FK spec, got any idea on what determines the complete specials?
 
Everytime I start the game the players all have completely random names. It's still the actual players, but the names that come up are just nonsense.

err fixed, at least for now.
